p.s. I have no opinion on Ray hadley's commentary skills as I don't get to hear him over here. Should I be thankful? :)

p.p.s this is my 1000th post. I was hoping for something a bit more insightful. :(

Yes you should be very thankful, within 5 minutes you'd not only have to replace your television/radio but also the window you threw it through

bit harsh

Sorry if you're actually Ray Hadley, Hughesy. He does make his living out of being confrontational though and most of his listeners on talkback seem to like him to do all the thinking on their behalf (just my opinion)

HAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHHAHAAHHAAH

This guy has no ****ing idea.

Milk and bread are both cheaper than they've ever been!

As I said you're a halfwit with absolutely no brain. It is sad that half-wits like you exist. You are part of the problem in Australia, very sad indeed. But then again a half-wit like you probably believes that the farmers are producing milk for a dollar, the crap milk you buy at Woolworths. Good to see that you want the farmers undercut as long as it doesn't affect you.

The cost of feeding an average Australian family has risen dramatically in recent times. Recent statistics show the cost has gone up by at least 40 per cent since 2000. In the past 20 years, the price of everyday necessities such as bread, milk and eggs rose by at least 6 per cent each year, and lamb prices by almost 8 per cent each year. Food price inflation in Australia, unlike in other advanced countries, has been greater than overall inflation for the past 10 years. Source The Age

I should not have bothered with this because half-wits like you don't get it, and you have shown yourself to be an utter moron with zero credibility, not surprised though.

Nup, not me - You've got the wrong bloke there champ.

Really? Are you sure about that? Then I wonder who you were talking to when you posted this.

Seriously,

Do you think we go to such great lengths to recruit a player of the calibre of Todd Carney and then bitch around with where he wants to play?

Get a grip.

Maybe you were talking to someone else.

You jumped down my throat for calling you a moron, but you call him a half wit when he doesn't agree with you? Cool logic bro.

He is a half-wit, that is proven.

Furthermore, yes you did call me a "moron", and he also insulted me because I don't agree with you Labor morons. No problem for me, because I can debate the issues. I am not particularly concerned by your insults as I previously said, nor did "I jump down your throat" as you suggest. Facts are you won't have much to talk about when Labor are massacred next year. You better go the local school when the next election arrives and hand out how to vote cards for your beloved Labor party or Bob the communist Brown, they will need all the help they can get from fools like you.

I'm always suspect of people who are so dreadfully convinced that their opinion is right.

Even more so when they then go to such tiresome lengths to persuade and convince others that their opinion is the ONLY right opinion and that any other opinion is ill-informed, slavish, shameful or worthless.

To me that is just just indicative of a weak and intellectually insecure mind looking for approval and validation.

So true

Haha, 'some people' = people that own property and like to pretend they're giving a service to the public. Like it's a nice thing to do.

Well not everyone is like that lol and not all of us that invest in property are asswipes either.

This actually just reinforces my point that the Howard Government was the highest taxing in Australia's history; what do you think the single biggest contributing factor in the increase in the cost of food has been in the last twenty years? Hmmm...let's see, what happened around 20 years ago that inflated the cost of everything by 10%? Oh yeah! The GST.

Who would've thought that a tax of 10% on everything would have caused an increase in food prices by more than the rate of inflation, which is roughly 5%?

This leads to your point about the Carbon Tax substantially increasing the cost of living. Leading economists including Ross Gittins have already estimated the actual impact of the Carbon Tax on the cost of living will be minimal and, in fact, a tiny fraction of the increase the GST caused (which had the highest impact on cost of living of any tax).

You need to think a bit more carefully about your points, as most of them are self-defeating.
