Still hurts this morning. Beautiful day today and there is Cronulla Spring Festival.

Will go out, recharge and enjoy the day and we will be back at it next week.

Whatever happens: Up Up Cronulla :shark:

it hurts but will be ready for next week i'm sure
they will be up for whatever. lets leave it to the boys and the coaching staff.

I fly out for portugal tomorrow for a couple weeks- don't know if I can have beers when the game is on due to time difference - but I will be streaming! and still having a beer or something in the morning!:ROFLMAO::LOL:

I was hoping they win last night so I fly back in time for prelim
oh well
all the best and enjoy the week! stay safe everyone
If the Roosters get up today hopefully you get to dine out on some Portugese chicken

Maybe we’ll get lucky and he’ll be inspired to step up again by a near death experience.
While I’d still be happy not to retain him and rather start Teig there thought a more Wade-like game this week
I though he had a decent game last night too.

Still down this morning, should of captain challenge the field goal and ask if he played it with his foot. Would instantly kill their celebrations to. Also you are then going to the lottery of the bunker.

Was a good game back and forth, unlucky in some areas.

It's borderline comedy that one side of the draw is Parra / Raiders / Cowboys and the other has Penrith / Souths and Roosters / Cronulla.

But why? No matter how we played, it doesn’t change the fact that bunker was awful last night and all of their decisions went against us. Maybe calling it gifted is a bit of a stretch but Cowboys seem to be the beneficiaries of those decisions.

I think what HB is saying mate is if we had held the ball and not defended so poorly then the bunker doesn’t matter. Very good teams overcome this. We are a good team but not very good. Yet.

I agree that the bunker is awful at times but there were at least half a dozen other reasons outside of the officiating that lost us that game.

One for instance right at the end Nicho put up a bomb that was way too shallow. I would have thought the best kick at that time was a lower trajectory one that would pin them in the corner.

All true but the killer was the 10M penalty that piggy backed them out of trouble when trailing by 8 .

There were two 10 M penalties in the match - both against us in a match where 20 could of been awarded to either side - the one I mentioned above stung …

Oh, I agree with all that.

All I am saying is that if the bunker was fair, even with all of our mistakes, we would have won. The bunker tips the scales one way too much sometimes (in other games too, not just ours).

Oh well, onwards and upwards and Up Up Cronulla.
