I would actually consider Matt Cooper too, I think we need another high profile centre for mine.

inu, hayne, falou, carney, taylor and tuiaki would be my preferences to sign in no particular order (and of course re-sign our own boys)

there certainly are interesting players on the market...according to our website their are plenty of more for us that havent got a contract past this year so our plans should be to re-sign who ricky wants in his plans for the future of the club...but my opinion would be to get the 3 boys we mentioned cause their all great players and i think ricky might go after anthony tupou as he loves that boy.

In no particular order and without a hell of a lot of thought, below would be my picks. Not necessarily for the Sharks, but just players I rate and believe would be an asset to any NRL club.

Dave Taylor - Potentially the next greatest Australian prop. Webcke tough with more speed, skill and ability.

Todd Carney - Potential is amazing. Personally I don't like him as a bloke, but his footballing ability outweighs that.

Terry Campese - Underrated I reckon. Big, strong and skillful. Champion bloke too.

Jarryd Hayne - Just a great young player.

Krisnan Inu - Another great young player with some off the cuff freakish abilities and the balls to take advantage of it. Game breaker.

Matt Cooper - Solid ex-Australian centre. I'd prefer Gaz, but Coops is nothing to turn your nose up at.

Josh Morris - Dead set jelous of the Dragons having this kid and his brother. Both nuggety little buggers with speed to burn, a hell of a lot of potential and come from some good stock.

Sam Perrett - 1 a fair decent blunder in game 1 GB v NZ, but other than that he's a solid young fullback who is in good stead to replace Mini at the chooks.

Brett Stewart - An abundance of speed and skill, with the determination to match. Hit the rep scene running and wont stop anytime soon IMO.

Israel Folau - No explanation needed. Had a stellar first year and I don't see him suffering any 2nd year syndrome. One youngster out of many that probably deserve all the hype. As for the next Meninga.. We'll see.

Cam Smith - QLD and Australian hooker, with an Aussie captaincy to add to the resume. Great creative player, tough, skillful, takes the pressure off the halves like no other and from what I can see an excellent leader.

Taniela Tuiaki - Straight out of Tiananmen Square; the bloke is a farking tank with speed. A bloke no fullback/wing/centre wants to face at full flight down the touch line. Less effective but still able in the back row too.

Dave Taylor and Tuiaki thanks big, strong and fast.

Also Anthony Tupou, his offload abilities mixed in with Gallen's, Bird's and possibly Thommo's means a whole slew of ball to pick up for Kearney.

I heard him on the radio the other morning saying that he's still undecided about whether he'll play on past nest season, but that his preference would be to remain at the Warriors as he likes living in Auckland and his family are settled here. Plus, he is so popular here that no-one would let him leave, people are virtually talking him up to be the next prime minister!

Hey GW, I know those maori names take some getting used to, but I take it you are referring to Wairangi Koopu??? :p A real good backrower in my opinion, and a handy buy if we could pick him up. Not to mention a fantastic role model for the young maori guys already at our club and the couple more we have just picked up (Shane Pumipi and Jerome Wihongi-Henare, both from northland).
