I can handle increases, but increases of 20% and more and without notice or a reason given I can't.

How would they notify you though,

Hey member we are raising your member fee :) all the best ??

Its not a service or consumable, i think anyway they tried no one would be happy unless prices went down.

Downgrading. PB is not justifiable when I will most of the start of the season. Will just lend my ticket to mates for GA whilst in away,
I'm dumbfound with those price hikes?! I've no kids or house to pay off and I earn plenty and even those prices put me off upgrading straight away. Terrible move by the club.

I renewed and don't have a problem with the increases as I can afford it. Some people however would have been stretching the budget with the cost last year.

Some fees have gone up 60%-90% bit hard to stretch the budget that far.

Engadine, gods country.
i have just renewed my cage family pass and gals pals, but geez, it was tough pressing that 'submit payment' button.

im not happy with the increase in price, but in reality, what can i do about it?

they arent going to change the pricing now are they?

i can only hope that they learn from this mistake and next year fix the problem. i also hope that instead of having a sook on here, that you actually put it in writing or send them an email expressing your discuss.

on a side note, my dragon supporting wife now has alot less spending money when she goes to vietnam with work on thursday....haha

I can see their mindset. Thinking the seated members will renew regardless, but keeping the flexi, kids, country, shark net etc affordable attracts new members. Seems the new honchos care more about getting new members than keeping existing. **** if they increased by 10% across the board i think itd be alright.

AND a loyalty system should also be in place, so for every year you are a member u save a fewmore dollars.

And snow i wasnt havin a go at u before, i was talkin more about people like me, id haveno right to bitch about aprice hike given the dollars i chose to spend on booze and merch that i didnt really need. I understand ur position

That's the thing though. With such a price hike, merchandise will most likely take a bit. What families are going to be able to buy a membership then on top of that go out and buy jersey's etc. It will either be down to either becoming a member and that's it or buying a jersey etc for you and your kids.

I wont buy the kids jerseys yet. They have retro hoodies and wear the **** out of them. I wont get them a jumper/beanie etc this year as they have it. But i know what ya saying. Kids merch is the most ridiculously priced thing you can get.

For comparisons sake, if u were to get a season ticket at say 35 a game, what would it cost for 1 game to buy a seated ticket? GA is about 30 agame isnt it?

havnt decided yet but will probably just get 2 True Blue GA tickets this year. Its hard to fork out $1300 for 1 game a year i got to go down for last year. not including travel as well

And as much as i love the Sharks, the NRL is so poorly run that it makes me rage so hard and it was hard to get really excited last year

I'll more than likely be renewing my ET Upper - fortunately the price hike isn't big there.

However I'm more interested in the decision to extend the same pricing into the concourse as the Peter Burns Upper.

The strange thing is, those prices r fair in comparison to what it would cost for equivilent entry if you went week by week.

The issue is the previous years have been so well priced. What worries me is they will prob jump ip the ga entry price too.

You would be naive to think the gate entry tickets won't go up. If memberships drop they have to catch that money somewhere

I'm still considering my options, since its going to cost my family an extra $525 to renew our seats.I really want to keep the seats I've had for a few years but not sure if we can justify such an expense when we will definitely end up missing some games along the way, whether it be Fri/Mon games, kids sport or broken down **** boxes.

We might have to go the general admission but my sister has a new baby and I think it might be pretty difficult for her to have to stand up all game while holding the baby. Decisions, decisions.

Renewing.

I have seen numerous complaints and whining about the price increase of the 2014 sharks membership and I'm applaud, well and truly over it.
If you have a complaint, email the club, hopefully they'll get back to you ASAP!
Don't jump on social media ( twitter, Facebook, SF and or other forums) and bag out our club, it just shows poor form on ourselves, and brings down our clubs name.

What I'm saying is don't bag our great club, but support it!

Up Up Cronulla

Ps. Yes I renewed my membership for Upper Matty C stand and doing via payments.

I'd like to know what the price is to re-new my seat but I've spent the last 15 minutes going around in circles on the site trying to bring up my details and see what the price is! Haven't got time to do it now, I'll look at it later...
