Frustratingly, only renewing upper et can claim upper et stand seats this season. Lower et is open, apparently.

Hang on - are you saying that there are no vacancies in the ET Upper? Or that only renewing upper ET members can purchase additional ET Upper seats?

Because if it's the first, that's a load of **** that gets trotted out every year.

I moved from the PB to the ET Upper about 4 years ago now and they said the same thing to me the year that i was trying to move into it.

not to mention, every single year, there are seats that are missing every single game (obviously these could still be assigned to people paying for them)

guys i am 'renewing' Flexi 5 in 2013, will be purchasing a 2014 FAMILY Flexi 5 membership, does this count as renewing (if any discount applies) not an issue at all to me, just wanna know what im doing. Was gunna buy us individual memberships, kids woulda loved the kids packs, but **** it, the club will get enough out of me with merch anyway.

Bahahaha I find it incredibly amazing that there have been hundreds of threads over the years trying to come up with fundraising ideas and ways to keep the club afloat with a lot of people ready to donate to the club...BUT when prices go up on memberships its a "OH S%^T im not paying that, the clubs ripping me off"

We have 19 posters who are cancelling or down grading(so far) funny thing is that if the club was struggling which it is they probably would donate to the club ? ?? Go figure

Support an AFL team and cop their prices.,

Great post m8. 2014 is the first year in which i registered to be a member. It wasn't the most ideal time to become a member, but I think given the circumstances I don't think there was a more ideal time then now.

Pull your head in mate, i'm only downgrading because my finances will be tighter next year because I've dropped back to working 4 days a week due to full time study as well. Nothing to do with thinking the clubs ripping me off.

I've changed my mind on what I'm doing for next year (a woman's prerogative). We love our seats so much we are just gonna renew one family ticket, since two of our kids can hardly come to the footy anyway due to work commitments.
We will still be paying more than what we paid for all 6 of us last year but atleast we will still be sitting where we want, around people we have sat with for years.

Budgets tight mate, not everybody is on 80 to 100 grand a year, football is expensive as it is.
