Another sht decision by Fitz
His lack of development is concerning, he has regressed if anything.

Hazleton was miles better in much less time than Kaufusi had.

This is the exact exact player that was purchased…..

At no point was I ever happy about this signing….

Once again what we saw this year is the exact player that was purchased. It’s no surprise they let him go.

As soon as he came on the paddock last year parra went backwards

Well yeah, he’s not equal to or better than RCG or Junior Paulo.
Don’t think eels thought he was and don’t think Fitz thought he was when he signed him.

Yeah obviously he isn’t RCG or Paulo.

But the point was he is a deadset plodder and always has been, not even “decent” as top 17….

Good too see Oregon's Grand Final experience with Parramatta helped him be completely underwhelming for us against the Roosters.

Was lethargic and borderline lazy early on in his stint but got better after that but still wasn't much of a factor for us. One of his more meh games.

I've always said that players like him that are just solid types can't afford to make mistakes or miss tackles (can cop it with exciting play makers) and unfortunately he did both of those things although I can't remember what his error was it was down on the stats sheet.

Will give him credit for something though, his ball security and the way he locks up and protects the ball from being spilled or stripped is probably the best in our team. Easier thing to do I spose when you are rarely going to pass or offload.

Is looking like becoming a fairly replaceable player and that is not something I would say about any of our other forwards right now. Not a good position for Oregon to be in coming into a season when your coach is going to be under more pressure and scrutiny than he has ever been.

He is actually a first grade NRL player playing a semi final, nothing wrong with expecting more than what he dished up.
And young, which is why I called him a pup. Your expectations (like mine) mean ****all.

Overall, I wasn't impressed with his effort this year. He needs to have a massive off-season if he wants to be a regular member of the team.

My expectations mean something to me,I watch footy to be entertained,Im not interested in analysing the **** out of the games or this stat or that stat (don't mind reading the posts of the guys that do).
I pay for membership and my Foxtel to be entertained, I want to see the players having a red hot go, the crowd amps up when bald Tommy comes on because he is entertaining.
Oregon is boring and underwhelming, he should be known as the 'gentle giant',maybe he doesn't want to hurt anyone.

My opinion only, respect to yours.(y)

Every team needs a reasonably good forward.

He's dependably reasonably good.
That is very much debatable.

I would say he is dependably below average
(which I personally wouldn’t say is the same as reasonably good)

Below average in the NRL is way above reasonably good.

Just let this sink in...

Brailey ... Born September 1998
Hazelton.... Born February 1999
Trindall... Born July 1999
Kaufusi... Born August 1999
Wilton... Born September 1999
Mulitalo... Born November 1999

Isn't it amazing how people are willing to forgive some of those other players because they are young, but Kaufusi is ready for the scrap heap because Parra gave him a bunch of games during Covid before he was really ready. Also Tricky is the next immortal but Brailey who is 9 months older is hot garbage.

Think long term for all of these players guys.

What are you trying to say ?

Going by this Kaufusi needs to pick his game up - all those other players have already had major impacts/ stretches of games at one time or another

You're so defending of the players. Mate its nothing to do with age, not like a young half finding his way. The issue is he is soft as, absolute powder puff in his runs and tackles. Get rid of him.
