Typical from our club who doesn't know how to win big games.
They make an error in the first set of GP and we don't set for a simple FG to win it... we drop the pill and march them down our end.
Laughable.

Very disappointing but atleast it was a close game and not an absolute flogging like the Dogs got.Now that would have been a worse way to bow out.

Anyone at game who were the standouts? how were our forwards? how did Sione and Afa play? did timmy play **** as usual? couldnt get the link happening
please don't put it that way, they obviously tried their best in horrible conditions, we were underdogs and almost took out the favourites

That's the wrong attitude mate. All the finals games were "big game matches" and we won 2/3. The boys played good footy, it's just a case of the Vulcans played even better. They boys looked utterly shattered.
Standout for me was Stuart Flannagan. Good defense and gave the forwards good ball. Also made a couple breaks.
Tim Smiths kicking game out outstanding.
Stapo was great under the highball + his goal kicking was good.
Mannah and Vave were both amazing.
Collis in attack was awesome.
The more I think about it, the harder it is for me to think of a bad player. Only complaints are Porter should of gotten his hand on the ball more. Brod Wright was good in defense but he and Clayton didn't get much ball, but all their runs were strong.
All the boys played good footy, was a great game to watch with a disappointing end.
