If dogs weren't so **** I'd go with Burton at 5/8 because thinks he's only one who kicks goals.

Was going to give Xerri a chance as well but looks like Critta playing on the left

Kane Bradley now dual 2RF/CTW
Yeah I saw that, if he is named to start round 1 will be in virtually every team.
Decent chance he is a bit of a trap and could lose it to someone after a month or two but hopefully holds long enough to get some good price rises and I think given the money he saves worth that risk.

Even better if he goes great and locks it down.

Yeah Blore will be the concern there. As you said, if he can hold it for 5 rounds and score a try etc he'll be worth it.

Yeah the 6 guns in the spine only works because of all the midrange 2RFs.
There are barely enough cheap CTWs to also support it - bordering on not enough.
I actually have Bird in my CTW atm... I think I'm keeping him
Egan I jumped on last season when he was looking good but too many injuries to trust him again. Even some of the games he didn't go off early he got pretty bashed up. He did play very well for the most part when on though so not a bad shout.

Last five years though, 18/25 18/20 20/24 20/24 19/27 80% of games. Certainly not awful but ideal from a guy not playing SOO as an excuse.

If he stays healthy while you have him he should score well for you though.
Hmm, that's an interesting Egan stat... thought he'd just had a bad year. Looking more like a bad decade.

Bird a bit pricey for me because of how I’ve structured my team.
Didn’t play heaps last year but two years before he put up 22 and 23 games. So despite his injury woes there is a case for backing him through them this season.

Usually if starting a dual I’d rather them being playing 2RF than centre but Bird one I’d consider as an exception.

Finished last season sub 440 if he was that still I’d get him.
Before first injury last season he averaged 61.2.

Info slightly dodgy, played 22/27 last year. I didn’t credit him the finals games

I heard an interview with Flanno talking about Bird and how he had been a bit lax with his arthritis treatment and in a few other areas. Sounds like Flanno's looking after him and I'm hoping that means a return to form. It's a bit of a POD but I don't want to completely go with the pack if I can justify it.

nah that's fair, I heard that too - kind of dumb by him but is what it is at this point, good that he's getting back to it properly.
I think he'll have a good season, I've been keeping an eye out for him in drafts, although only picked him up in 1 out of 3

Sea Eagles - only thing of interest is Burbo indeed named to start, although I don't love Waddell and Lawton on bench for his minutes. Every chance it's the classic Burbo trap again, proceed with caution. I reluctantly am holding atm.

Rabbitohs - Gagai is interesting if you think he stays in the team for a bit. Wighton due back soon but Munro perhaps couple months and Graham even longer. Am I missing someone or could it be Trell AJ Wighton Tass Gagai? But if Kennar or Tass went to wing instead you're screwed.
Keppie starting is interesting - Moale averaged just 27 minutes last year and Burgess is trending down.
Host on bench is not what we wanted to see for Arrow although he could pick up minutes in middle if he subs off.

Roosters - Leniu starting but presumably just until JWH back next round.
May on a 3 forward bench but I've heard Sandon Smith might be back to reserve Cup after this round to play halves and with Watson they become a 4 forward bench. I'm going to move off May I think and see what appears for the week after.
Wong and Tupouniua are interesting but Butcher a threat on the bench. Based on trials Tupouinua could pick up some middle time if subbed off, but probably not if they go 4 forwards. Anyone got a guess if him or Wong play 80?

Broncos - Arthars on wing (with Mariner but he's priced out)
Piakura starting and no real edge named on bench which I like to see.
3 forward bench good for Wilison, especially as I could see him making more impact than Fletcher or Kobe.

Anything I've missed? Or thoughts on my comments?

Geez that's a light bench from Manly. Woodsy jagged the ideal spot for this trip. In the squad but not required to lace 'em up.

Which sides are the wingers on for Brisbane? Wouldn't like the chances of anyone playing outside Cobbo.

Biggest concern for Burbo is the schuster return IMO.

I thought Munro was 8 weeks out and that was about 4 weeks before the season. I had him only missing 3 weeks so not keen on Gagai.

I think Keppie can make 100k if the minutes are there quite easily. Arrow will definitely play middle minutes again, which I almost think is better for his scores.

I think Lenui is a trap. He didn't score well any time he started, and I just don't think he gets the minutes or has the work rate. He's an impact guy.

I love Smith on the bench for May. Think he only needs 40 minutes to be relevant with his offloads and tackle busts.

Wong to play 80, and not just because I grabbed him in draft...

You're right about Schuster, could come back anytime. Probably at least initially won't just come in and steal heaps of his minutes, if Burbo already losing some he probably won't lose many more. Best we have seen of Schuster is better than best we have seen of Burbo though, if he can stay fit.
I could go Burbo to Wong but it eats my whole bank...

Smith on bench for May is good I agree, but only if it lasts. Sounds like it might not. JWH probably bumps Whyte out when he comes back.

What if Tricky kicks for a few weeks to save Nicho’s quad?

Could throw a spanner into SC.

At one point I had Brooks/tricky in that slot but ended up having to go cheaper on the sub spot to spend elsewhere.

Weekes price as a starter seemed like a good idea to earn a bit of extra coin with that in mind.

Although at this point in time I don't actually know how the pricing system works.

Was more thinking about Tricky's value going up as a 5/8.
He's at 10% ownership. That's pretty low considering he's in a good attacking side. Definitely worth a punt at his starting price. The kicking would be a nice bonus

Went a slightly different direction with my mob.

Wanted to have a horse in the race for each team in Vegas. Went with Haas, Cook, Teddy, Brooks.

Plenty of other decisions to be made, but at least I'll have someone to yell at on the TV when the dumb halfbacks use my guys as a decoy.
