Uele is definitely the next Fifita. Absolute workhorse.

From what I have seen he has been good if not a stand-out. I think snowman has seen a bit more of Newy than me though - maybe he can comment.

From a talent PoV I think Uele has it in him to play more minutes than just the standard Ava/Latimore/Taga role Flano has been using his props in. It might be worth him getting those minutes up.

Yup. Hasn't been great but has had zero opportunity.

Capewell has been playing 17 minutes per game. There are a few reasons we are not winning but the 17 minute injury-cover reserve is not a big factor.
Uele has a average one so did half the Newtown team. He has a drop ball or two.

Haha maybe not - but maybe watch him play once before making up your mind. He’s a good player at that level and I wouldn’t count out any young prop becoming a regular first grader down the track. Very few props are dominating their competition at 22. He’s a project.

Still can’t believe Ramien, the only centre to have produced anything for us this year loses his spot over leutele.

I know its a pretty sht message to send to the youngin.. But I think coach will throw him in this week as a suprise, if not then defs next week if Leutele doesnt pull his socks up - He is literally our #1 centre

I know what you mean but I don't really care what message we send to a bloke who is leaving the club.

Do you prefer the ''you can play mediocre and still have a spot'' message instead?

What does that have to do with Ramien?

Yes, I like him and would like him in the team. What I'm saying is I don't give a flying **** what messages we send to him. He's leaving.

Btw, it's sweet how you and the Wizard of Waffle keep sticking up for each other.

Re centre position etc, i wonder what Flano is thinking for season 2019, does he see Dugan being a centre for us in 2019, does he want to extend Ricky, does Ricky want out, potentially we might need two new centres for next year.

Its got nothing to do with Ramien, i'm talking about Leutele. And it goes for the whole team, if we send the message around that you can play ordinary and not be replaced than we will get ordinary performances.

But we're not doing that mate. I didn't think Flanno would drop Feki, but hats off to him for doing it.

I think that, along with putting Flanno Jnr on the extended bench is 100% sending a very strong message.

Also, as I've said before, Leutele isn't getting much ball, or quality ball. Doesn't matter who plays centre on that side atm.

He has made some changes which I didn't think he would ever make, and I think it's great.

Yeah he prob isn't getting alot of ball, but I still feel Ramien offers a heck of alot more in attack than Leutele. Leutele has had a few defensive lapses lately also which is out of character. It will be interesting to see what Flano does with Katoa when he is fit. Could shuffle things up a bit more.

Pretty sure Katoa will be back in the team when he's ready.

Yep, so Feki is out or Holmes is shifted back to fullback?

And who partners Katoa? Leutele or Ramien?

Feki is already out mate. Katoa will probably come in for Lee.

I think Leutele gets a few more weeks.

Hope you're right, lots of speed if we go with them 2.

If Leutele gets a few more weeks than we will have to stick with him for the remainder of the year.

See how Leuts goes next to Cedric this week.

In saying that, if we have a dominant performance, or if our defence slides properly toward their edge when Saints are attacking our line, their defence combo might not even get properly tested.
