Only God knows what team we are going to trot out this week.

Should Feki be dropped?
Will Dugan be fit?
Does Hodko get another go?
Can our attack get any worse?
Can Fifita actually run straight?
Does Moylan play at 1?

Too many questions and not enough answers I’m afraid.
If at the beginning of the season you thought we were a top four team, you need to reassess that notion.

At the moment we’re not even a top 8 team.

Yeah, I’ve been trying not to be too negative this year, but I seriously think we’re going to get towelled up. Could get very ugly. Saints are on fire and we’re in a bad place at the moment.

I think we'll lift. And I actually don't think we've been that bad. Things haven't clicked. But We've had different people in positons every week.

Yeah certainly hasn't helped.

When Dugan is back we need to pick a 1-7 and stick with it for at least 5 games regardless of how good or bad it is performing.

I re-watched the roosters game last night (glutton for punishment), and I reckon we were the better team.

We ran for 100m more, completed higher at 81%, lead the linebreaks (4-1) and tackle breaks (28-26), we made more average metres per set (45.9m-41.6m), more offloads (19-8), and passed the ball more (280-199).

Defensively our tackles were more effective (89.8% - 84.9%) and our ineffective tackles were much less (8-30), plus our errors and penalties were also slightly less.

In summary, I don't think we are going that bad. Our attack hasn't clicked, but that's expected with a different spine every week for the opening 5 rounds. Once that gets settled we will improve. The fundamentals are already there.

Provided we turn up with the right attitude we can win this. 5 on the trot and a recent victory against us, theyll be confident yet complacent. Aitken against our left side scares me. Leutele should have him covered for the most part, but he will attract attention from the defence and open it up for nightingale.

Play smart footy and we can win this. We arent going to win trying to score 50 points with fancy ****

Actually said to one of my mates I thought we'd get a late field goal to win.
