Wow, that is a fair kick in the he nuts... Friday 13th never brought into it before maybe I should have... whilst at times we were stupid we did have few good periods all b it only short ones, we are really painted into a ugly corner now.... I think (bitter pill to swallow) we need to all lower or expectations of what we can achieve this year... pre season as always I thought top4 5 weeks in I thought 4-8 now I’m sitting 9-12..

If those 4 are all out next week, who is our new forward pack? Prior & Ava up front with Paulo at starting lock? I wouldnt know who the 2nd rowers would be though haha.

Sorensen on the left. Capewell on the right.

Bench of Williams, Segy, Uele, Dillon

Bukuya must be getting close to a return too.

To say Moylan was disappointing is an understatement if we are to persist with Moylan he has to play 6 - he can't defend on the last line, shows no desire to return the football, always looks to pass and cannot handle pressure passes.

Dugan is arguably the best defensive fullback in the comp and is never out of position, but he was also our best back last night by a long way.

Holmes looks happy on the wing but needs to get more involved, went missing for 60 minutes of the game.

I thought there were some positives out of last nights game, Kurt Dillon looks like the workhorse we were missing off the bench (apart from the missed tackle on McInnes) and Brailey showed alot more confidence in attack, defensively poor, but I put that down to missing our 2 main middle men.

I am a huge Val fan but he went missing last night when we needed him most. Our forwards were all stuffed and we needed him coming in and taking some hit ups and dummy half runs. At least 50% more than he would normally do as he can rest in defence on the wing.

I reckon Kurt Dillon played well, but he looks like he is running in quicksand. If he is going to be playing regularly in the middle the guys around him need to cover for his lack of speed.

I was trying to find positives!

We looked at our best in last nights game when the backs came looking for the ball, I actually thought Dedrick had a really good game, ran hard and caused problems through the middle.

Dillon definitely struggled without the senior big men in the middle, but as far as a debut is concerned that is about as good as it gets for a prop.

Haha. I understand.

I thought it was a pretty heroic performance. Our attack looked much better, and I agree about Edrick, he threatened more than Feki has in a long time.

To say Val went missing last night is ridiculous. Watch the game again. The ball is nearly always on the opposite side of the field to him. It's not his fault if we are always going left. He actually did a few dummy half runs on the side next to Lee because he wasn't getting any ball.

That's what we are saying mate... he needs to go looking for the ball he can't stand on the sideline and expect it to land in his breadbasket everytime.

As far as next week is concerned I would think Lewis will play and prob Graham, fifita and gallen all sit out.

I would go for something like

8. ulele
9. Brailey
10. Prior
11. Lewis
12. Capewell
13. Bakuya
14. paulo
15. seggy
16. Ava
17. Dillon

He had 4 runs for 41m.

He’s an Australian representative player. When we had 4 of our best players out he should have taken some responsibility by going into the middle looking for the ball. Justin Hodges was good at this, when his forwards were tired he’d go over the other side of the field to take hit ups.

As I said, I am a Val fan and I don’t like bagging him, but in my opinion we needed more from him last night, and he has the skill and experience to deliver. He didn’t.

You wouldn’t start uele when he hasn’t even played a game in firsts.

Ava and prior start and Dillon and uele on the bench.

Sorensen deserves a crack if Lewy/wade are out
