there won't be. The nrl are happy just to let the judiciary sort it out

Apparently facing 6 weeks on the sidelines

The referees have NO BALLS to send someone off.

If he gets 6 weeks, then that right there is evidence that we should have been marched!!!

He apologised to bird over twitter lol that makes it all better

Yeh, sorry mate. I could have stopped with that tackle, seeing that you dropped the ball cold and I could still count to 10 (1,2,3,ahhh 6???, 4,5 ummmm, 7,9,8, 10) before hitting you flush across the head with a swinging arm with as much force as a hurricane!
I didn't mean it bro........

Why didn't Barba tackle the winger around the legs and possibly into touch, instead he went up high and got carried 10m. Stupid. Harden up and tackle around the legs!

Was there a support player on the inside? I can't remember.

If any of you can put yourself through the pain of watching it again take note in the first half how many times DCE when taking a kick for touch took 2m as a minimum off the mark when the ref's held the spot.

Cummins on one of the penalties was marking the spot & I swear DCE ended up kicking the ball 5m up from the spot Cummins was marking, funnily enough, I think that's the one where he failed to find touch, check it out for yourselves.

Maybe legs were the right option in this case, but I like the way Barba defends when it's one on one heading to the tryline. He tends to run with the attacker as opposed to meeting them head on, meaning he's far less likely to be stepped or run straight over. He was unlucky this time – he did really well to reel Tom in and hold him up, but you can't save them all. Tom's a big, strong and skilful bugger.

Day after the night before, still annoyed by the result. I'm still convinced we went there with the wet weather mentality and never adapted. It's the whole apparent no plan B game plan that worries me mostly, the good teams find a way to win. Until we learn to throw a game plan out the window and fly by the seat of our pants when required we will continue underachieving. Dominate field position without posting points is a skill we have mastered.
I couldn't agree more. A converted try ahead and we have Manly massively on the back foot in the first ten minutes and we take the two. We were all over them like the Cowboys were all over us in last years final.

How many chances in a game do you get with a team rattled with six on their line? Then we take the two.

Where can we get detailed stats for games? I'd like to see how many tackles we had inside the attacking 20 if possible.

He should have gone around the legs in hindsight. However, considering he was in the process of running him down I would imagine he didn't know if the player had support or not.

He went damn close to stopping him going high and find it hard to be critical of him here.

I think cowboys took the 2 vs us in that game early.

We were down by two converted tries in the first ten minutes of that game. We had the opportunity to do that last night.

We should have been up 20-0 after 15 mins. That's where we lost it. Manly hung in, got that try before half time and simply wanted it more. We dropped our heads and then played catch up football when we didn't need to. Ahead 8-6 in the second half we should have used our sets to build pressure but we seemed hell bent on scoring off every play.

I had no issues with going for the 2 when 6-0 up. We had plenty of opportunites to extend our lead at 8-0 up.

Agree HB, I actually said to my iPad screen, take the two! We still had enough ball to put on another two tries in the next 10 mins and failed to do it. Manly did step it up defensively last night but we should have done so much better in that first quarter.
