Who needs a sprint coach? Firstly we never get line breaks anyway and secondly how hard is it to run??

You would be amazed at what can be achieved in terms of speed, and explosivness with the right trainer and training. Gards has so much more improvement in his speed if he just worked on running technique! across the board I see a heap of gains that could be made with our squad.

Bingo.
We spoke to ike before the game, he had no idea why he was dropped.
Thats because flanno had no ****ing idea.
Muppet!

So Ike was actually dropped? WOW

I assumed he was injuried that is just stupid!

I read a report he was dropped because he was injured? That's disappointing to hear if true, Ike deserved to retain the no.1.

Yeah wtf goes on there.Sends out a great message to the team.........play well and you still get dropped.Did he seem genuinely confused snowman or was it more of an off the cup comment

Perhaps he wasn't training well, and whenever the coach said "pull your finger out" he made some references to a niggling injury and used it as an excuse. Then come game time Flano drops him based on him having this injury.

But perhaps Gordon tells people he doesn't know why he was dropped, as he feels healthy, can run, and has played with the niggling injury before.

We don't know the full story, and there are possible stories that make sense.

MB is right we can never know the full story.

Well, I don't know who is telling the porky pies here but I can tell you this:

I actually did speak to Ike before the game, he was with Vave in front of the Southern Stand. They were in their club suit and ties. Gordon told me he wasn't playing because he had an injured hamstring that he picked up in the game against the Cowboys. They were hoping to have it right by gameday but he aggravated it during the week.

So I don't know who you were talking to Snowy!? Although, if you were as blind as you were when I saw you after the game, you might have been speaking to a poster of Ike around the ground somewhere!:p:drunk

Despite some soft defense there was a lot to like about that game. IMO it was probably the best kicking game Wade Graham had all year. JMo's kicking and involvement was good also. AK was a little off with some of his kicks but looked very dangerous with ball in hand.

I also thought Mills was very solid in defense and Hotdog was very good too. Actually, aside from the Broncos game hotdog has been really good every game.

Yeh agree, AK was pretty ordinary on the line, Robbie Farrah will have AK'S defence or lack of it in the memory bank.

I love AK cause he has stuff in his attacking game you cant coach but he needs to work on his goal line defence in the off season. Maybe it was just an off game by him as I cant really recall him being that poor in other games but Farrah exposed him good the other night.

Kelly still looked underdone physically. He will be much better come next year and won't get dominated at the collision quite so much- he's putting his body in the right place, its just a strength issue IMO. Probably the injury lay off.

I tend to agree. I might actually go as far to say that if the NYC Team didn't need Chad to play another game to qualify him for the finals that Kelly may have played those last couple of games in NSW as he just didn't look quite right, even though he did have his moments.

I thought AK defended well other than on the line, and yeah - his defense has been pretty good other than this game. Ultimately it was those soft tries by Farah that was the difference in that game.

I was surprised how solid he was front on in defense, he wasn't worried about the big guys running at him.
