i think club should realease a limiited edition signed picture of gallen to commenatrate his 200 games. this would raise much needede funds for club, & could provide a nice little bonus for our best player. as well as providing fans an opportunity to buy something to commenarate a true legends milestone that may not have thousands spare to bid on his boots.
my suggestion would be limited edition of 200, 1 for each game played. i would definately buy one

Good idea, I'd get one too!

All in all, last nights game really summed up our season for 2012. In many ways, we were the better team last night, made more metres, more offloads and had more possession. On the flipside, we did suffer from some soft defence on our goaline that resulted in a couple of easy tries.

Having said that, on at least two of those occasions, the Tigers shouldn't even have had the ball; with some appalling decisions going against us. For some reason, when you are at the bottom of the table, every 50/50 call seems to go against you. I can't say if it cost us the game...but it certainly didin't help.

Despite the pain, frustration and heartache that I have suffered through this year, it has still all been worth it for those few bright moments of glory; the brutal humiliation of St Merge in Rd 2, another hometown demolition of the Rorters, the emphatic victory against the Billion Dollar Bunnies in front of nearly twenty thousand.

Even though at the end of the night we didn't come away with the two points, I still loved being there last night to see Gal play his 200th game and to farewell Dougy and Snowy. The post game presentation was a nice way to finish the night and really highlighted what it means to be a Sharks fan...

Regardless of the result, despite the fact we are still striving for that elusive premiership and through all the financial hardship we have endured, we are Sharks through and through. We are one community, with one home ground and a fierce pride in our team and our home. They can't take that away from us, no matter how hard they try.

We are winning this fight. I know it may not feel like it but the tide is turning. We have been down for a long time but we keep getting back up and we are standing strong. Don't ever lose your fire, Sharks fans. I have a feeling a new era is just around the corner...

Was a great day besides the loss, entertaining game, sad to see dougie leaving. Had a great feeling to it especially with the lap and massive crowd.

Great to meet all the sharksforever boys. Funny ****s you are. Also had a great chat with Gil. Great bloke!

Flanno thanked all the fans for their support and of course gave a big wrap to Gal for his courage, aggression and dedication. The crowd gave him a standing ovation at the end of his speech.

Players' Player and Coaches Award for the game went to Jeremy Smith. There was also a presentation to Tyson Frizzel for his NRL debut.

Of course, the major speeches were saved for the departing Dougy and Snowden, also for Paul Aiton. All three seemed genuinely proud of the time they had spent at the Sharks and were also a bit sad to leave. None more so, of course, than Luke Douglas who was tearing up a bit as he made his farewell speech, in which he thanked the CSSC for their support!

I must admit, I had a bit of tear in my eye to think I had seen the last game in a Sharks jersey for this young man who is just such a professional and a great bloke as well. He will be sorely missed.:cry

I read a report he was dropped because he was injured? That's disappointing to hear if true, Ike deserved to retain the no.1.

stapo did a good job there. A pretty good 3rd choice fullback to have, safe as they come and can actually ball play unlike gards and ike.

I was pretty happy again last night just like last week. Even though we lost it was another exciting game where our attack is looking better and we are scoring more than 20 points against a good team.

Agree with Josh re: the depth and variation in Graham's kicking game; was probably his best performance in that respect for the season. Stapleton ball-playing on the edge was a definite improvement relative to the rest.

Defence was average in the middle of the ruck and on the try line. It's fixable; more so than a impotent attack.

We scored four well constructed tries that were not simply the by-product of throwing the ball around.

Mills may look ungainly and not particularly graceful; he's effective nonetheless.

Mills speed has me puzzled, he has these massive wraps that he's the fastest at the club or was prior to his injuries and we've seen him in the clear and he doesn't look super fast but I think he did well to beat Lote to the ball last night. He hits the ball up with intent also.
