Yea he seems no where near as fast as he was made out to be.
If you could take Best's late footwork at the line and transplant it into Mills you would have potentially the best centre in the comp.
who is the clubs sprint coach?
On our budget I'd suggest it's a local greyhound trainer.

the boys again tried but came up short. i reckon the refs were a bit dodge (anyone like to have a go at listing the dubious calls?) but we were equally to blame for the loss. graham made a very poor miss on lui in for moltz's try which was a real shame because i thought he was close to our best apart from that. kelly did stuff all, looking very timid i thought - possibly still wary after the broken leg but doesn't mean his under-performance can be ignored; very unhelpful. forwards were very good i thought and j. smith is now officially my favourite sharkie; a meat axe who can grubber for his flying winger! cordoba was on the field for.... 10 seconds? and concedes the simplest of penalties. should be frikkin horse-whipped. wingers were good and stapo did ok except for falling on his dot to allow loti free passage to the line. really sad to see dougie go; i wonder if he will finally break into the nsw next year. it would be ironic if he did so, given that he would do so from over the border, but he certainly deserves it so all the best to him i say. some very nice attacking football but uncertainty again at times when we got into their 20m which was frustrating as we were a real chance of pulling off the upset. letting farrah score a triple suggests a lack of homework or awareness or both; again frustrating. anywho, bring on 2012.
That was a suprise. We could have used him last night.

I agree, however he still took along time to get going which isn't a good trait for a "speedster" in Rugby League.

I'm not suprised. He learnt from the master of bizzare selections. How many times has he picked a centre on the bench this year? Why even play Collis if he isn't going to be here next year? The Gordon non selection should confirm to everyone that Flanagan has no ****ing idea and should be replaced. We will never have a winning season whilst he is in charge.

Perhaps he wasn't training well, and whenever the coach said "pull your finger out" he made some references to a niggling injury and used it as an excuse. Then come game time Flano drops him based on him having this injury.
But perhaps Gordon tells people he doesn't know why he was dropped, as he feels healthy, can run, and has played with the niggling injury before.
We don't know the full story, and there are possible stories that make sense.
