Scott wasn’t great yesterday, he’s not instinctively attacking as Jesse but he ticks just about all the boxes & defensively is very good although Duges bumped him off easily & he didn’t even get back on side.

Oh he's a good centre mate but Noodle is better. Much better.

After last weeks game I thought our season was pretty much done. The desire wasn’t there, the polish wasn’t there and there was just no energy or urgency in defence. It’s amazing what a week in footy can do. The boys really showed yesterday that they want to play finals and not just make up the numbers but give it a real good crack. That was probably the best game we have played in 12 months and at the right time of the year. Proved me wrong by a long shot.

We can get up against the big sides when our backs are against the all but the trouble now is finding the same consistency and drive when we are expected to win. These last 3 weeks will be very interesting. Historically we are slow finishers, even out premiership year we lost what 5 of our last 6 or something like that.

Either way that win means nothing if we can’t back it up against the cows this week. They are arguably on e of the inform teams of the comp right now so they definitely won’t be push overs. Just need the 2 points anyway we can get without injuries!!

They playing like the trash they are. Just the usual golden horseshoe **** they pull out there ass. Look at that game winning set against the broncos, they were in shambles until the bounce of the ball went their way.

This is our GF. JT going out with the spoon would be just as sweet as our boys lifting the trophy again.

Y, me too, I've copped heaps for not going to the game. I was just too disgusted by last week and thought we had no chance.
Long way from your joint.. I must admit I’d steeled my self for a serious touch up.. was pleasantly surprise. I must have yelled out 50 times “c’mon referee smith even you’d give us a penalty there”

Only making one error against the roosters was pretty impressive though. It will be interesting to see what sharks team shows up. If it’s the same one from yesterday we win 13+ no matter how well they play

Whether is it illegal or not it's a sad state of affairs in Rugby League that the Captain of the Australian team has to revert to tackling like that. Geez it must be tough to teach young kids to use their shoulders these days when that is how professional players tackle.

Yeah throw the old tackling textbook out the window. It’s all about holding them up, tangle around and use submission moves to control the attacker.

Havent been around Junior footy for a while but how do they teach the kids? Serious question.

Mate my boy loves his Sharks and loves watching the game but there's no way he'll play footy from what he's seen. He's only 8 so when he gets bigger and stronger he may change his mind but for now he's happy to stick to his soccer and cricket.

Fair call Chad, whatever makes them happy. Especially with the age and weight debate it wouldn’t be fun for a little fella.

I know the real little kids it’s bit of fun and a free for all but as soon as they get to an age where the technical assoects are taught I’d like to know if it is taught to grab and wrestle.

Well to be honest he's not really a little fella - he's quite tall for his age but isn't used to the physical stuff just yet.

Greg Its generally 2 up top, one legs, then lay all overem, hold em down as long as possible, Down here in Jnrs. Slide and umbrella also at 14s level. I take the Jujitsu comment as a non joke cause that's been trained a bit as well. I HATE the Grnd stuff, told my boy that his team would've got a smack in the head from holding down from teams I played in, back in the day.
