What's the story with Smith's injury?
What's the story with Smith's injury?
Meanwhile, Cameron Smith has been cleared of a serious foot injury after the Melbourne captain pulled up well on Saturday morning.
Smith limped from the field in the 73rd minute of his side’s 30-20 loss to South Sydney at ANZ Stadium on Friday and was immediately treated on the sideline.
Initial fears were that he had suffered an Achilles injury, however that has now been downgraded to a tendon problem in his foot.
He will be monitored during the week, however medical staff are confident the injury is not a serious one and at this stage he won’t require scans.
I'm just going to go with the "we get up for the big games against better opponents" line.
Not this year. We've only beaten one top 4 team.
But what a win.
The **** never gets injured. It’s extraordinary.
It’s insane. And when he gets hurt he’s somehow fine for the next week.
And he's a little guy defending in the middle. The least amount of NRL games he's played in a season is 20, which he did once. Every other year he's played at least 23.
I know they always play finals but he's also missed games due to SOO.
I despise the **** but that is unbelievable.
And this one is away from home which is surely to our advantage.
We like to get dolled up when we go out. When we have guests at our place we don't even bother getting changed out of our pyjamas.
