On the one hand we were dominating for at least 50 minutes of the match across the board, on the other hand, the Roosters caused more defensive issues for us than I have seen during the run of wins.
Barba, Gallen and Chad were fabulous.

I am ALMOST tempted to say we deserved to have a loss tonight but I will not. That was a win never the less & back on top of the table, Bellamy & co will be angry.
We need to improve on that performance big time if we are going to prove we are contenders. Way too many simple errors, bad reads in defence & stupid not needed penalties, although some were a bit suspicious. Raps to Heighno Prior Gallen & Townsend tonight, Barba was solid once again.

Forgot to put in, what was that stupid decision by Bukuya on the 3rd tackle, could have eased the pressure with a try if he didnt do that.

Goodo, nice light week on the training track I hope, we looked spent real early tonight.. 2 points is still 2 points, special mention to that roosters kid Watson did some nice things tonight and speed.

Really don't know what to make of tonight's game.
We looked really dangerous first half, the backline was slick and we took full advantage of Fergo being in the bin.
But at 26-10 in the second half we should have put them away. Too many silly penalties and our tiring defence gave us some heart attacks.
Our defence tonight was at times poor and we can't expect to win the big games defending like that tonight.
But in light of the heavy workload some of the guys have had it was good to get away with the win.
Hopefully by Sunday against the Knights, Fifita will be fresh and the other Origin players will be raring to go after a light week.
I'd certainly rest Gal from Sunday and if Jimmy's groin isn't right then put Nu in at 6. He did well out there in the last few minutes and held his head well to put Feki away.
Barba is the stand out for us this year. He was awesome again tonight and I would go so far to say we are nowhere near the semis without him.
