Wow..fancy blaming refs..how about the simple drop balls or sideways attack. May the static defensive line or the lack of vigour in our runs
We stand waiting for sides to come at us....but but its the refs fault...please..

agreed. he did some monster tackles when I thought all was lost
repeat sets help. its hard when you don't get the flow
You see the sharks complaining about it with the sub standard officiating. no balance. no fair justice in the NRL:.

only there to cater to some clubs

Referring was terrible 1000%

Honestly anyone who blames the refs (who were bad) or any particular player is deluded.

62 missed tackles.
22 offloads.

That lost the game right there. There is no ****ing argument. Every single one of them should be ashamed and a coach with half a set would tear shreds off every one of them.

We lost the game but that was one of the worst reffing performances I've seen in years. Their decisions alone accounted for 4 of the Raiders points, not to mention Jesse's "shoulder charge".

It's okay to hate the players and the refs.

And a completion rate of 69%

I don’t check stats after every NRL game played but I can’t say I’ve ever witnessed one with 62 missed tackles. Dreadful effort from our boys in what was probably the most important game of our season so far.

A good team would have beaten us by 50 tonight.

Lethargic. Heads not in the game. Too many players thinking about where they'll be next year.

how many times is it said the sharks need to be switched on!!! funny that - heard that before!!!!:lmao

they lack playing smart footy.

field position. smart kick chase. 1%'rs. wrap up the man, stop offload. get over the advantage line. kick to corners.
we just don't see it

sub standard, along with the reffing

Problem is trying to blame the refs in my mind gives the players a hall pass…(which they don’t deserve)
Both parties were equally ordinary tonight….we always struggle against hot potato football.

Agreed, was more than one factor that contributed to that loss
But the 8 point try and 'shoulder charge' were big factors, the no call on Rudolf high shot was garbage too.

Many of our players were also ****, for either extended periods or just at costly moments.

Quicker to list the crap from the ref than from all our players.
In the age of momentum is king free extra points and making up a shoulder charge to walk them down field were as impactful as most of the individual ****s up our players made (of which there were many)

Agree with your last line, and I agree the officiating was poor. Just saying we didn't deserve to win that despite the refs performance.

100% we didn’t earn the right to dominate that game but the ref absolutely killed us - that was bad referring tonight.

Calls that were made that ended up being wrong or missed were more then the usual amount and he was giving them 6 agains at will it felt like

Our tackling was terrible and refereeing was terrible. I felt like the Raiders stripping tactics really ruined our style of play, where our main focus was holding onto the ball. To me that rule ruins the game. But while the rule is there we should either be passing more before the line to negate it, and/or spend some time training it ourselves.

funny that!!! it was written from the first canberra try. nothing in that high shot. yet ramien was clipped the very same down the other end.

but soft sharks supporters will accept it

and that SHOUDLER CHARGE :lmao - there was no shoulder in it, everyone was like where is the shoulder????. but soft sharks supporters that accept mediocrity

don't worry cue soft sharks supporters that will accept it and blame the completions rates, missed tackles

grow some balls!

Definitely my least favourite rule change. It sucks that you can have one player all over the ball whist two others immobilise the carrier, just to drop off and allow a strip.
