UPDATE: venue has been announced. CBUS Super Stadium on the Gold Coast.

The Raiders finally got their **** together last week against, to be fair, a Turbo-less Manly. We just gotta hope the move to QLD doesn’t derail our blokes too much. Time for the senior guys to show some leadership here against an unpredictable Raiders team

Us:

1. William Kennedy
2. Sione Katoa
3. Connor Tracey
4. Jesse Ramien
5. Ronaldo Mulitalo
6. Braydon Trindall
7. Shaun Johnson
8. Aiden Tolman
9. Blayke Brailey
10. Aaron Woods (c)
11. Briton Nikora
12. Teig Wilton
13. Toby Rudolf

14. Mawene Hiroti
15. Siosifa Talakai
16. Jack Williams
17. Braden Hamlin-Uele

18. Billy Magoulis
19. Royce Hunt (heeee’s baaaaack)
20. Andrew Fifita
21. Luke Metcalf

Them:

1. Xavier Savage
2. Semi Valemei
3. Jarrod Croker
4. Sebastian Kris
5. Jordan Rapana
6. Jack Wighton
7. Sam Williams
8. Josh Papalii
9. Josh Hodgson
10. Emre Guler
11. Corey Harawira-Naera
12. Hudson Young
13. Ryan Sutton

14. Tom Starling
15. Joseph Tapine
16. Iosia Soliola
17. Ryan James

18. Matthew Timoko
19. Trey Mooney
20. Matt Frawley
21. Harley Smith-Shields

Big Royce Hunt is back! Even if its just as a reserve. Trindall gets another opportunity to show he’s worth giving the keys to next season. Tracey gets another chance to try to convince that he’s a centre. I don’t recognise a lot of those names in the Raiders team but that pack is pretty good and they’ve still got Wighton and Hodgson pulling the strings. Should be a close one, but i’ll go with us by 8.

Their back 5 are pretty young/****. If SJ can pin them in their own half like last week I think we can roll them. Their strength is in the forwards, so we need to turn them around/shift as much as possible to make them work.

I posted elsewhere but this game is huge for us. A win for us could see us gain 2 points on all our direct competitors.

Be interesting if Wighton and Papalii back up. They're pretty desperate so you would think so.

Huge Round for us in regards to our finals aspirations. Win and teams around us lose as expected and we should have a 4 pt lead over 9th place.

TEAM NEWS: Matt Moylan (calf) and Will Chambers (isolation) remain sidelined. Aaron Woods is in doubt due to the impending birth of his baby with Royce Hunt on the extended bench as cover.

Even if Woodsy does somehow play, I would still be tempted to put Roycee on the bench ahead of Hiroti. Talakei has played in the backline before if one of our backs goes down. Teig could cover as well

Cut ties with Moylan also - this stuff will never end with this bloke...

My thoughts as well. I have been one of the guys calling for Woods to go, but would actually prefer him to stay over Moylan. At least he plays and is not injury prone, and I think has been ok for us in recent weeks.

So when Woods attends the birth of his child he will need to isolate in Qld for 2 weeks before rejoining his team?

And the Dragons players that went to BBQ and signed statements will only miss 1 week?
