I can't see us winning this one. Too many players out obviously. I'm looking forward to seeing the backup players have a run and see how they fare as some of these blokes may yet have to step up come finals time.

Given your tipping record this year I'm very confident we now win this. :glasses-cool:

I think this is very winnable still.

- With no Moylan my guess is panthers backline look like this.

1. Will Smith 2. Zak Hardaker 3. Waqa Blake 4. Tyrone Peachey 5. Dallin Watene Zelezniak

Its a pretty mashed up backline now without Moylan and Mansour. Our regular in-form backline along with Lewis and Bakuya could very well exploit them out wide.

- In the halves Cleary and Cartwright are still also a mish mash halves pairing that have many weaknesses.

- Panthers have leaked tries against some pretty poor opp with their best squads.

- Its in the forwards where they are gonna pip us with their bench being more experienced BUT there more flashy then tough. Its up to Taga and the bench to keep it simple and not throw in too many errors.

LOL. Whilst I gave the tipping comp away early hanging my head with embarrassment, the only team I've tipped correctly all year is the Sharks in the game thread. I think I've only had one wrong.

I think the new guys will take their chances. Flanno should think about resting players and testing the depth but he won't, so this is the only chance these boys will get unless there is injury. This could be a surprisingly good result for the boys.

Why should we rest anyone?

Most team members would be playing with some degree of hurt each week at this time of the year and at the end of the year we will want everyone as healthy as possible. If a week off helps it should happen. Not everyone in the one week obviously but staggered. It helps the A grade and gives some experience and exposure to the B graders. We might need to pick a player for the semis that has had no first grade all year if we get a rough run with injuries.

8 May was rep weekend, week off for most. We then played two games, bye, two games, bye, two games.
