I'm thinking those two games a couple of years ago where we beat the roosters and cowboys from big comebacks with a very ordinary but spirited team filled with fringe sharks players. If we can do that here would be a huge boost for those guys up from ressies, other teams getting injuries now in the forwards, we been lucky to this point.

Broncos not cowboys

The team we're putting out there is a good team and will give a good account of themselves. But Penrith are a decent team and still have Moylan and Cartwright. Not going to say we're definitely going to lose, but I don't like our chances. 20-16 to Penrith.

The good thing about all the players who have been called up is that they are coming into a team that has been winning. There is also the added bonus of these players really staking their claims and showing flanno that they can handle playing in the top grade and can do the job if required later on in the season if we have any injuries. In the past players have been coming in when we haven't been going that great. Hopefully this is the motivation they all need get stuck into it

To get to round 18 and to only use 19 players in the first 17 rounds is a great effort. Andrew Gray has been a great addition to our coaching staff

the team was playing well a couple of weeks ago when they had all their players and all of those players named to play 1st grade this weekend were playing strongly.

The newtown side has been hit with injuries of late. And in key position

Moylan may get a call up to the nsw team if adam reynolds is ruled out i was just reading

I myself would be putting Cartwright in (and moving Bird to the halves with Maloney). I think Cartwright off the bench offers more versatility than Moylan. Can play in the second row, centres of 5/8 (much like bird).
