Was going to say that was a storm like performance from our ring ins, I feel a lot more comfortable knowing we have got guys in the wings capable of doing a job if required. Some epic defence which is always a key indicator to a teams mindset. Other than the live dragons win round 2 has been my fav thus far.

I like to go through the game day thread the day after but IMO, today is right up there with our best of the season if not the best, really proud of them, the club & stoked to be a supporter.

Wasn't expecting that today. Starting to believe it could be possible. Just need to get through Wednesday unscathed

just lost $100 on TAB going for Penrith but great win !! I've been putting $100 on the opposition since rd1 - I've lost $1,400 but it's all good....I'd pay $5k to see us win the premiership.

Mitch wasn't bad today. Has played some good games for both the dogs and sharks. I just get worried about his ball handling in big matches and when the game is on the line.

I think a win like this will really lift the senior players and those that are involved in Origin. To see fringe guys come in and do well must be motivating. I know Penrith were without players as well, for various reasons, but the team did their job today. Very satisfying win.

Did anyone notice today how many forward passes Wallace threw from dummy half today? I reckon the one he threw for their try just before half time looked very suspect to me.

I was pretty confident at half time. 7-1 penalty count against us I knew had to be squared - it's so obvious the refs do this, we got three straight penalties right after half time. And even though they were our penalties I thought they were soft and Taga absolutely milked one later on. I told a mate I was watching the game with that the refs would look to square up the count and he was amazed when they started to do it.

Yep esspecially towards the end of the second half I remember seeing 2 or 3 in a row.

Yeah I caught 2 obvious ones in a row, then everyone after that was flat or slightly forward.

Refs were pretty lazy today

What annoys me is when a ref is squaring penalties and blows 2 or 3 on the trot in the attacking zone when the attacking team are on tackle one. Virtually no benefit. One penalty on the 5th tackle is worth more than that.

I should qualify this by saying that I don't mind it so much when this happens to the opposition.

Funnily enough. I was more confident of the back up troops winning this game versus practically the whole squad against the eels last week.

Maybe it's this cliche belief they all talk about

You must have me on Ignore. I raised that during the game.
