There are only two games we might lose in the remainder of the regular season, the Raiders and the Storm.

The winning streak could very easily extend another five games.

Massive boost. Heighno was awesome. Nu is back!!!! Better than ever. I'll give the coaching staff and especially the head coach a big wrap. Five new faces and they did their job. The Sharks have a pattern and every man knows his job. Thanks Flanno!!!!!

Out of all the wins this season, this is the one I'm proudest of.

* Those reserve grade boys did the club proud today. Every one of them did their job. Even Matty McIllwrick, even if it was for a few minutes.
* That win was on the back of our demon like goaline defence in the first half, Penrith kept coming and coming and our guys brought the fire and brimstone, we've got that first 20-25 minutes to thank for that win.
* Chad Townsend stepped up as the key playmaker today, proving he's not just in a 'supporting role'.
* Solid debut for Capewell, chuck him a two year deal, he should be in our first grade team regularly in the near future when we lose some of the older boys.
* Nu Brown put himself in the shop window for clubs looking for first grade halves talent. The man is ready for first grade and I wouldn't begrudge him a move to another club for a regular starting spot in the top grade.

The good thing about all the players who have been called up is that they are coming into a team that has been winning. There is also the added bonus of these players really staking their claims and showing flanno that they can handle playing in the top grade and can do the job if required later on in the season if we have any injuries. In the past players have been coming in when we haven't been going that great. Hopefully this is the motivation they all need get stuck into it

To get to round 18 and to only use 19 players in the first 17 rounds is a great effort. Andrew Gray has been a great addition to our coaching staff
yes I'm quoting myself...

What a difference it makes for players coming into a side winning like it has been. It's infectious and it shows how great of position the club is in. Every player except mcilwrick who got **** all time played great and showed not only they can handle first grade but showed to flanno they are hungry to get into the top squad.

Great to have decent depth, wasn't long ago where we had **** all.
I thought all the fellas coming in played well, had some big shoes to fill and didn't let anyone down.

Yes it is. A well drilled team with a plan that has worked. If Flanno can drill this culture into the team he can stay as long as Bellyache has been at the Storm.

In seasons gone by, an early penalty attack would have made us drop our heads. Not anymore, that's a good test of a (possibly) champion team.
