haha you pork chop it was a clear try. All the defenders fell off him meaning it was play on and he had every right to reach out for the try

Your clear hatred for him is blinding your judgement
maybe. I'm terrified that he will cost us in a very important game. I'm getting a lot of hate from the Gal lovers here. I'll stop bagging the goose because it's like pi$$ng in to the breeze, but I'll surely say I told you so when he costs us a big game.

You'll be hard pressed finding any gal lovers here mate. If u read back through the archives he would have to be the most criticised player on the forum, but, i dont see where he is a liability? Hes still putting huge performances in week in week out, might drop off a tackle or 2 but hes allowed to get tired mate because every single week he puts more effort in than any other player.

His fatigue needs to be managed but thats a coaching issue.

There are definitely more people that hate Gallen then like him here. But those people are smart enough not to be blinded by the pure hatred of him to not see the good things he does for the team. Unlike you. That's why your opinion isn't taken seriously here, it's an opinion born of hate, not logic.

There's something about this team, man. I don't know if it is all of the wins or they just love playing for each other but they don't seem to give in. I wouldn't want to give 18 point leads to the Storm but still, rather win in that scenario than lose.

I honestly never felt we were gonna get beat. Really didn't want 18-0 to turn into anything more before we struck but I've seen plenty of beaten Sharkies sides and they never looked like doubting they could play their way out. Bringing the gap back to 2 at the break I knew we were home, although the Eels put up much more of a fight than I thought they would 2nd half.

Agree. It is easy after the event obviously, but they deserved a 6 point lead not an 18 point lead. We were always going to run them down.

Parra is over rated on here.

I am a Gal lover.
Me too.
My only gripe is some of his media work leaves a bit to be desired, I know he gets paid for his opinion. 2 stand outs for me this year alone, after the newy game thought rather than say a lot of their guys wouldn't get a go in a 1st grade team anywhere else, why not just comment on how young and raw they are and only just starting their fledgling NRL career.( I know lots don't think much of Newcastle but a young guy playing his 1st few games should be applauded not have the Australian vice captain tell the world he ain't up to it), secondly the whole fiasco over the boys pod cast seriously was embarrassing for him and us, when a simple "the boys could calm down or have asked me direct no decisions on my future has been made", but he chose to go on about how it's a little show no one listens to made it a bigger deal than he needed too.

Sure Paul may be right, one day gal will miss a tackle that may cost us a game. But the guy has won us plenty of his own back, so im more than comfortable to manage his minutes and give him another year.

In your head, rent free
for a plodder who cant bend the line and makes no impact, he is one of 5 players to run for 200+ meters this weekend

3 of those were wingers, the other is jesse bromwich

we also had another player run for 200 in feki

So what are everyone's thoughts on our attack? Sounds odd I know but I still think there's quite a bit of room for improvement when we're inside 20m.

At least they're targetting opposition weaknesses now like running at parramatta's right side defence on the weekend once it was obvious how bad it was. Instead of robson continually bombing to daniel tupou like in the past

Inside the opposition 20 has always been our Achilles but it is getting better, still love the idea for a change up if things ain't happening stick taga or fifs just for a set in attack inside opp 20 a extra pass wider or out in the centres see if they can't run over the top and trample them, when fifs takes off across field more often than not looks like something may happen.

Yeah I quite liked how we went out to our centres a few times on then last and if there was nothing on, they trickled a grubber through.

We were taking about this on sat night.
Compared to last couple of years the Sharks dont have the tallest wingers, so instead of just putting a kick up in the air.
They are trying to use the backs speed with sweeping backline plays
trying to get outside the defenders.
With the confidence of quality halves and the backrowers graham, Lewis, boogs
Giving other options.
