No one really to blame in that one (though Mozza was poor in attack). Lots of effort across the board, defense was good but in very tough conditions. kick a conversion or 2 and a bit more luck with the refs and we win that

we had an obvious plan to kick in behind them early tackle count on the left and had mostly good success though some didit come off, but i dont mind that we studied them and put in a game plan. we had them under pressure nearly the entire game

really tough loss, easily could have won that we were just us good as them if not better

not upset with the team (except moylan) just dissapointed. really tough loss but can hang their heads mostly high was a big 80 min effort. the water in the ground volume wise was a joke, lucky it didnt turn to complete sludge
dry game we take those 2 points i feel

Simply too much dropped ball. Parra handled the conditions slightly better, and we had worse field position and a higher defensive workload as a result. Thought the score reflected the have it accurately even with us scoring more tries.

I heard the commentators say early in the game that the refs told Moylan he'd be sent off if he was offside again. Guess that set the tone for the match

Bludger of conditions & hard to get a genuine read on where we are at, we were unlucky but at times we didn’t help ourselves, I can’t fault the overall attitude & commitment of the team, on to next week where we must win v Titans, make no mistake, the Titans will turn up & have a crack.

Without Johnson the game would have been very lopsided.

Care to comment on the gutherson knock on call? Where we scored the next set? I only saw Wade knock it on

Oh don't get me wrong I'm not blaming the refs. We had every opportunity to win despite it.

I think on the last replay I saw it come off Gutho hand into wade from the ground, but could be wrong.

You can’t say that. We should’ve won period. Conversions killed us -

I wouldn’t judge anyone too much today that rain changed everything... good game by us upset we didn’t win, we were the better team. Talakai at 11 is golden, don’t think anyone let us down too much , referee killed us though.

let Moylan or Trindall, SJ, Will Kennedy and Brailey get some more game time together

Moylan knocked on it attack, threw a pass to high for Ramien and kicked dead on the third

If chad did that we’d want him hung

Good point .
But in addition Mozza and Ref didn't help our cause today .
Should we stick a half paced Mozza next week or bite the bullet and play Trindall or Tracey instead
Really can't afford to carry PASSENGERS

Very true, I want to give Moylan a chance because his first game since whenever and it was bad conditions. But, his offside penalties, the drop ball and the pass to Ramien.

Really could see Kennedy and Johnson meshing well, unfortunately Moylan was slow and out of pace.

We were tough today and much improved in defence and pretty unlucky to lose.

I won’t comment on the ref, I thought from the beginning we’d struggle with him officiating and that proved to be the case.

I thought at times we didn’t play enough wet weather football. Needed to kick a lot more and throw short passes, for mine there were too many decoy plays and wide shifting of the ball, it’s a wonder we didn’t drop more ball.

Yes Moylan was poor but I’ll want to see him on a drier track before calling for his head.

It was a heartbreaking loss but I’m hoping it galvanises us even more and gives us more confidence that we can mix it with the top teams.

Didn’t play enough smart footy. Few players weren’t playing wet weather footy.

Loved to have seen that game in dry conditions

This loss is actually a very hard one to accept. We were dominate and we had the chance to make it to fifth position, yet we didn't capitalise.

They were horrendous conditions to play in. Got to give to the guys for playing in that weather, they tried their hearts out so I guess I can't criticise, if I had to only player I would would have to be Moylan, I hate criticising him though along with everybody though. That was a pretty bad kick at the end their, tried doing way too many passes all the time aswell. It was tough for SJ, he got 6/6 last week & most of them were kicked from out wide aswell so it would be hard on SJ (frustrated with himself).

On the other hand though I've got to criticise & won't hesitate in criticising that referee today. They were disgraceful decisions that allowed Parra to get their final 2 points. That would have been called a knock on in 99% of other games then not to mention their penalty a few tackles later to get them up their end. That was a play the ball error aswell I thought. The scrum aswell, most other games the scrum would have been re-done. I wonder if the referee will be reading the forums & notice his criticism.

The try should not have been overturned on the evidence presented .

The knock on / knock back calls on Ramien and Ferguson were telling.

We were extremely unlucky to lose this one .

This ref has a habbitt of deciding games off his own bat...

This referee has always been a bit iffy & controversial imo, sometimes seems to have his own set of rules & wants to decide a result on his own.

We were in it up to our eyeballs, but I wouldn’t say we were dominate. Tough loss but shows the young guys playing the sides above us is a whole new kettle of fish., but we were close enough to know we can hang tuff for a long period of time.
