Well done Lutes on the winning try .
I guess it won't happen now , but I would still prefer Gagan to take Feki's place in the team (if ruled out ) and Beale to remain centre . Replace a winger with a winger .

I would say an 80min performance but we probably were only in that game for 55-65 mins looking dangerous. The positive now is we play to the 80th min and that won us this game. Well done boy's, Up Up Cronulla.

Was a concern there for a second when Leutele went over, he has a knack for pushing his leg out when he dives. Must just be his normal diving motion. Glad he kept that boot in.

As BWB said, we are winning in many ways now. Is good to see. Not all grind games.

2 more errors on the tally for Tagataese. His form is getting worse and worse. He needs a spell in reserves to regain some confidence in his handling. Do we have anyone to replace with Difita in England? Maybe not. But like any old idiot can play prop and hold the ball, surely.

It wasnt just the sharks dropping the ball and playing poor. The dogs defended amazing. Lots of pressure. Townsend looked like he couldnt handle it but Maloney came at them time and again. Great game from him. Fif's didnt die wondering either.

I love the fact that we have the capacity to score with good ball movement rather than just kicks and barging over. Team has developed well and are actually a team worth watching

It was ugly, hard to judge the conditions was obviously still a bit slippery.

The good signs, we crossed the line 7 times. Barba dropped it cold, feki a foot out, leutele dropped it on the line.

Even with plenty of errors, we still out played them in attack. Their forwards monstered us at times but at the end we got the 2 points. I was critical all year bout our effort through games. I dont think we ever slowed down like we did against manly or titans. We just gave up ball.

10-2, a real test next week vs the premiers. Then a bye.

I would probably be more inclined to put gal in the front row rotation next week and do shifts like fifita. He was puffed by 30 minutes. Get him out for 25, then bring him on with 30 to go

Always funny checking out comments of Facebook. Some people carrying on with "Ahhh match fixing at its finest. Every time the sharks were struggling to get out of their end. Oh look penalty here you go boys." Jeez. Someone else going on with "No wonder Sharks are top of the ladder with all the help the refs give them"

Mind boggling.

Mate i can not stand the ref excuse. Unless a game is decided by a bad call on fulltime, i cant cop the excuse.

There were instances were tolman was next to the other marker and tackled ennis, lichha 2 metres forward to graham. All teams get some bad calls against em. Imo the calls that are missed are the bad ones.

We won cos we never gave up. We crossed the line 7 times to 3, we continually turned their defence around. They scored on the back of our errors of poor efforts. As bas as we were we outplayed them. Knights woulda beaten both of us tonight

Ya not wrong. Yeah, Sharks played well to keep in it, there is no doubt about that. Was good to see them fight the 80 minutes and come up with the win. This game goes to show they still have some work to do, there is no doubt about that. But end of the day, win is a win. We are back in first, and a win going into the Cowboys game next week is a major plus.

Sorry guys, it was my bad.

My son was wearing his sharks onesie, he previously wore it on last years final game v the Cowboys.
The missus changed him with 5 mins to go into other PJs.

Don't worry he won't be wearing it again.

Strangely I never felt concerned even though they were the 4th leg of my multi. I'm enjoying the confidence of his team. Big test next week. If we beat the Cows it could be the year.
