Back in my day you weren't even selected unless you could prove you had at least a minor hamstring injury. Coach would say you weren't training hard enough and put you in a three quarter nelson.
Yeh but you didn't have GPS trackers, heart rate monitors and sports science processes back then.
I think a computer has indicated that due to training workloads, game performance and changes to global warming - a minor hamstring strain was imminent.
