I think that we could have made the grand final with a bit of luck against the Eels. None of the other teams apart from the Storm have been too crash hot in the last few weeks.

I mean on paper I'd back our forwards to roll through the Eels. But knowing us we'd have made 50 errors and penalties and just given them all the ball so it wouldn't matter anyway.

Agree that we've been crap but as crap as we've been, we went close against the Roosters and should have beat the Cowboys. But yeah, we would have had to play close to our best to beat Parra. We'll never know now though.

The only thing a storm win does is cement their legacy as the best team in the modern era and Slater and Smith get inducted as dual immortals.

But for my own personal viewing I want to see the Eels win, then the Panthers... but I don't want the panthers to win. We came into the comp at the same time, and I don't want them being 3-1 up on us

Been the best team all year, so no real surprise.

I couldn't really handle a fairy tale like Parra, Cowboys or Penrith.
