We can all see it. It begins and ends with the forwards. People keep talking about game management? What game is there to manage when you are literally chasing points every week.


The biggest issue is Nichos confidence and the things that put him into his shell. A million dollar man should be more mentally capable

Every week? Really? He lacks game mgmt even when the team is winning and the forwards are on top. Kicking game is average at best, never gets a repeat set, tries to score off every set, doesn’t build pressure.

He’s an awesome player. Iam not bashing the guy. I just don’t think he’s a halfback or if he wants to be a half back start learning quick!

If that happens we would have a left edge of Wade/ Moylan/ Treacey. Assuming Wade keeps his spot. Maybe in that set up Moylans defence isn’t so bad?

What i am saying is, game management isnt as much important when we are down points like we’ve been in the last 3 games. You want him to go ham in those situations.

The games against lesser teams, game management hasnt been as issue as we just coast to a good lead. People then fault him for managing the game and not putting nails in coffins. He really cant win with the critics on here

Right now i just think he is doubting himself a little. His fragility may become a real issue

Is Holdsworth the halves coach? I though he was just a general trainer lol

We need to play to both his and Trickys strengths - let Trindall take some pressure off by doing some more of the general organising / kicking and let Hynes chime in when he wants.

Otherwise opposition teams will just keep rushing up on Nicho and shutting him down, or making him stand an extra 10m back when kicking on the last.
