How many good games a year should a 1 million dollar player have?

I would say from his first game until origin 1 selection. What's that about 8 or 9 rounds?
Origin was a bad call. That **** wit Dickler ruined his confidence by playing him for 10 mins out of position and then effectively blaming him for the loss by dropping him cold!
Nicho needs to move on from it and realise that Dickler isn’t a coaches ******** and therefore he shouldn’t take any notice of that **** head!

I’d expect consistency every week with at least 2/3 if not 3/4 as “stand outs”.
Everyone has a bad day here and there but he would need to be one of our best most games
Would you say is always at least 7/10? I've heard of a guy like that...

The origin **** would not be affecting him one iota, it’s crock a of **** the fans dream up
Really?
Noddy didn’t come back broken when he threw that intercept and lost that origin game (then got dropped for memory)?

🤔🤔🤔

You are entitled to your opinion and so am I and I think it has had a subconscious psychological effect on him.

I reckon if we had Cleary and they had Hynes for that game Hynes probably goes okay.

We would probably be a tiny bit better off but but not massively.

Whether coincidence or not he hasn't been his normal consistent self since origin 1. Yes - the Sharks haven't either but he could still be a stand out performer in a losing team.

Take Ben Hunts performances over the past 18 months (prior to him wanting to leave). Head and shoulders best in his team.

Hypothetically, if we signed the entire Penrith team and won the comp, would it still count a 3 in a row?

If Origin affected him this badly, Fittler was 100% right in not picking him game 2, cant handle the stress it seems

In hindsight, but it could have been the cause. Like in a movie when someone goes back in time and becomes their own dad. Brandy said he wasn't picked because API was out and they had to run two hookers for game 2. They then ran a hooker at centre and then picked Gutho for game 3 who Fittler himself said he had no idea who to use him. Fittler has no idea.
