Pretty easy to keep your head right when your side is humming along in top4 all year & you got the midas touch with the RL world lining up to suck your cock.

Now you got high expectations & a $1m man. Teams not doing well. Home life a bit shaky. Nothings working.

Wait till the media turn on him - his "mind coach" gonna have his work cut out.

This is it. Just like Ponga, Hynes has joined that million dollar player club, which means more often than not, he has to perform. When he doesnt or when he has bad patches of form he is gunna cop it like Ponga has, Brooks has and even Teddy.

If he cant deal with that, we have a real problem because it’s inevitable all plYers will have **** patches, but he needs to respond on the field.

Seasons as good as done. I'd tell him go on a holiday get away from rugby league for a while. You can tell the weight of everything is on his shoulders in how he is playing.
Holiday ?

For what ? He needs to get his sht together and play football

If he’s that precious then take the million dollars back and we go out and take Tino or Haas and play Dykes with tricky in the halves next year

If he can’t pull it together when the going gets tough then he’s no good to us at all

Yep. $1m man & main man (as he wanted to be) doesn't get to cut & run when it gets shitty.

Honestly he's lucky the players are on a media ban right now or he'd be getting grilled way more.

He played ok apart from his kicking game.

Considering forwards getting beaten, losing Kennedy and Mulitalo, having a new 5:8, having Talakai and Ramien as wingers, having main hole runner Nikora out of position etc, a hundred errors from other players, playing the best team in the comp etc etc.

Just give the long kicking to Trindall (would love to know if this is his or Fitzy’s call), and focus on the other areas. Hate seeing a pile on.

I've been a huge fan of Nicho but I'm becoming very frustrated at this mentality that he must always get the ball and run everything . It's like his parents have bought him a footy team and said he must ALWAYS get the ball , no matter what .
Why on earth he was taking some of those kicks from our own half when we had Trindall on the park is beyond me .
He also needs to get away from this mentality that we need to score off every set , no matter what . Needs someone to kick his arse and tell him sometimes building pressure is what is required .

Media haven't turned on him yet, they still call him our best player every week despite him barely even cracking top 5 for us. I actually can't remember the last time he played well.

The man isn’t a 7, it’s time to make the call. He doesn’t have the head for it or the skillset.

Penrith had heaps of possesion in the red zone all game compared to us and the props returning had butter fingers.
I agree overall shuffle of a team doesn't help either. The sharkies played with a tone of guts in defence.

His kicking game was ****, no doubt about that. However, the guy never stops trying, and that's what you want. As much as I hated the 40m line cross field kicks/grubbers, he was reaching deep into the bag to try anything to change the game in our favour. He just needs to give up 80% of the field position kicking to tricky and keep working on the patience. I wouldn't change anything else about his game.

Sad that the fans turn on him before the media does.

Watching it again and with 25 mins to go we had 4 tackles inside their 20m.

Sure there where things he’d probably like to take back but we had him playing with his bootlaces tied together with our inability to hold on to the ball.

7 minutes to go and we had 10 tackles inside their 20m

We were destroyed by Cleary's kicking game
