When you compare it to Nanai who just extended with the Cows on a similar deal (4 years - $3.6m). It's a bargain.

Still played a lot of footy before that though. May not have been whacked quite as hard, but the body still takes a hiding even at park footy level over the years.

hughes is an elite level half back and paps is just utter chaos
they made the right call for everyone involved, just unfortunate how injuries have killed one of the games most exciting players

I think they probably saw that they had Nicho style players in Munster and Paps and couldn't hold onto him with the interest he generated.
