Difference is Chad is sht and cant do half the things Hynes has already done for us
Was actually thinking it was the exact kind of game to have a CT7. We needed boring and steady and to pin them in the corner, like they did to us

He's applauded when it clicks but defended when he puts in a stinker. Without knowing how many touches he has in each game his involvement seems similar every game, and what you expect from your 7

His defense is alarming, not the first time he has been beaten with ease
You def can look up his receptions though if you want to

Hate to say it but Adam Reynolds had a very CT type of game. Nothing flashy but controlled the team and kick to the corners.

Nicho will learn this art and will reap the benefits the more games he has. Up until the last few weeks the razzle dazzle is all that was required. Now a new skill set is required.

Difference is Reynolds has moments of real brilliance in him. Can pull a win out of his areyse in a blink of an eye

Yeh he can. I was referring ro purely tonight's game. I think a steady 7 type of player is what we sometimes need when we are under the pump

NRL website version has it
Cheers mate, just had a quick look, is in the 50s and 60s for most games and bad 70 odd against newcastle and parra

Obvisously possession dictates the numbers a bit but has touched the ball similar amounts of times every game

We lose a game we expected to win.

Team was as flat after 2 UP games.
Should we really get into panic mode ?

WOW, Seems lots here freaking out

Have we forgotten that Hynes has only played just over 40 games in FG , a large proportion of those off the bench at the Storm and this was only his 8th game as a half in FG . WE need to be patient with him whilst he learns his job , our expectations are way too high . Huge upside .
Shouldn't have been captain , got enough on his plate and way too inexperienced for the role at present .

I do not think we are freaking out and definitely not in a panic mode.

The team clicking on early definitely raised the expectations and we are all disappointed with the effort last night. If anyone told us we would be where we are right now by round 8 at the beginning of the season, we would have happily taken it.

We now want to win every week. Is that too much to ask?

Needs a halves partner who can sit back, control and organise a game when the going gets tough.
2 running halves doesnt work.
Hynes trying to play like Jahrome Hughes does in the 7 jersey for Storm - difference is he doesnt have a Munster next to him.

Yeah I think we're playing with two 5/8s and that's the issue. Put either one of them with a proper halfback and we look much better.

Moylan isn't going to change and that's fine, I wouldn't expect him to.

Nicho is still learning his craft so it's going to take time and some patience. Let's hope he has it in him.

Don't think we've forgotten mate. Just calling it as it is right now. He might become a champion 7 in time, but we're missing that level of experience right now

Agree mate. The Razzle Dazzle worked the first rounds but now teams have worked us out we need some more structured play

I don't think we need to change anything. The entire side looked off bar a few and it was reflected in poor execution. We made 13 errors, 10 of which came from our 2-7.

Yes they rushed us and we didn't respond, but even coming out of yardage we looked flat and unmotivated. I think the problem was more energy than strategy.

He was genuinely pissed at his performance in the presser. The bloke cares and has plenty to learn, he knows that and talks openly about wanting to learn.

We were to side to side and their halves were rushing in, Reynolds is a pro at rushing up into the attacking line.
