Poor excuse ? Get your head out of your ass. It’s clear as day he’s trying to do too much and it’s affecting his game, energy etc
Go to bed champ

You bagged moylan out earlier in the year but come up with a stupid excuse to defend nicho in one of the worst halfback displays by a sharks half back in recent years

Missed crucial tackles, dropped the ball and made poor decisions in attack

If he can't handle that sort of pressure with your idiotic excuse then he isn't the man for the job and is a waste of money

Glad moylan didn't put in a performance like that

We've been impatient all year. Isn't so bad when things are going well but was brutal to watch tonight.
I just don't get it.

We started well this season by getting to our kicks on the 4th/5th and had a great kick chase.

All gone.

No one is saying he played good. He is trying to do too much because we over rely on him it affects his whole game.

Call it what you want I don’t care but it’s the truth.. we need to fix it

I do not have the technical expertise to say why buy since Funicane has been out, we have not looked the same.

I don’t think he tried to do to much.
I’ve been one of his biggest supporters as a 7 and still think he can do it but tonight he seemed like he forgot he was halfback.

He wanted the responsibility but tonight he didn’t.

That’s on him and him alone.
(I don’t mean the full loss on him alone, just how bad her personally was)

Not having a game manager in the halves with a solid, reliable long kicking game will do that. Thats the part of Hynes’s game that is lacking and he has been working on it. We have to be patient if we’re going to persist with this combination. If he doesn’t make the progress we need, then move him to 6 next season and find a solid half that can kick us around the park to give Nico a hand. Hard to see where there’s one available so it’s a bit of a pickle. Right now I’m pinning my hopes on Nico improving to the point where he can do those sort of things on a consistent basis.

He's clearly got the talent but I've been worried about his temperament. Doesn't need the added pressure of the C next to his name.

Don't worry guys he got the most fantasy points from that game

his running game was pretty decent it's just everything else was below par, Moylan had to carry him a bit

not putting the knife into Nicho though he can't be good every week and the whole team look wrecked and disjointed

it's a minor set back, he will bounce back

He's clearly got the talent but I've been worried about his temperament. Doesn't need the added pressure of the C next to his name.

I think he wants that pressure and responsibility though. Coach needs to make the call either way if its right for him at this stage

I think we have plenty of other appropriate candidates. it doesnt mean the half back can't give orders, direction and show leadership just cause he doesn't have the C

I personally think some half backs already have enough on their plate. especially a relatively inexperinced one like Nicho

Hynes said as much in the press conference. He felt he had no energy and wasn't good enough

Then he said he will learn from it and move on.

Needs to get a bit deeper and kick to the corners if they are going to rush like that. Stinker of a game, will hopefully come back better.
