Thought he looked better when he went to first receiver, kicking and defence was outstanding looked a tad lost standing wide but that’s a given with so many changes going on and wet weather footy along with playing behind a poor pack.

Fantastic effort chasing and cutting down the break away player ,saving a try near the END of the game playing every minute..

Tele mentions he picked up a minor foot complaint due to someone stepping on it but no concern.
I was pretty confident about his kicking game but last night defn made me even more confident. Got a good boot on him too. Was a bees dick away from kicking a 40/20.
Some nice grubbers and attacking kicks too. He's equally happy to run it too so really going to keep the defense guessing.

He's quality, like what we wanted from peak Matt Moylan but not a mong. Makes Moylan look even more unnecessary now beyond depth or bench role.
He got a cool calm head on his shoulders but still sees the opportunities and has the skill and execution to do something about it.
Pass selection was superb , effort and attitude fantastic. Nice kicking and running game. Class act is Nicho Hynes. Happy he in the halves for us at the Sharks now.
It's hard to see him not succeeding, he just has a vibe and aura of wanting to do well for himself and his team and a quiet humble confidence. I was off the mark fearing he might become a sharks whipping boy at some point.
Hope it wasn't Shaquai that stepped on his foot!

How was his game any different to Chad Townsend ? I get that Hynes went alright but I don’t see it to the extent on his game in Saturday that people are making it out to be.. what did I miss.He's quality, like what we wanted from peak Matt Moylan but not a mong. I get that we **** on Matt Moylan but Moylan knew how to put people through holes and created them himself when he’s on
He's actually surprisingly similar to Chad
Both their best contributions to a grand final was on their arse

In that game no I can’t, he is a million times better as a footy player I get it but as a half in that game I didn’t see much to show it.

Genuine question how that game was much different to say a Chad Townsend game because everyone is raving about how Hynes went

I stand by it - would take Fifitas performance in the forwards and what he brang to his team in energy and impact over what Hynes brang to his team in the halves
