I agree mate, but I seem to be the only one who thinks baltimore had clear opportunities to win that game, ed reed is the best safety of all time, and when he took that interception I thought it was on! but he fumbled, and he NEVER FUMBLES!

Defence wins championships right? Well jets have the best in the league, and should be able to keep their best WRs to low numbers, and colts on the other hand have terrible rush defence, which means the jets no.1 rushing game could bash them down run by run, play by play.

One things for sure mate, this is going to make for one great game!

Ronnie Lott has something to say about Ed Reed being the best safety of all time.

J-E-T-S! All the way, gotta love the underdog. Defence wins championships baby!

FFS! I need to stop making predictions, Colts up 30-17 with 2:00 left. They played the perfect gameplan, keep the #1 defense on the field so long that they are tired and can't play as explosive as they need to be and damage the player that makes the running game for the Jets so good, Shone Greene.

Full credit to the Colts. One last prediction Sharks to come last in the NRL, that can only mean one thing we won't get the spoon this year :fergo:

I'd actually like to see the Jets make the SB but I have to go with my original prediction and say it will be the Colts in the AFC. In the NFC, it's a tough one but you've gotta say the Saints deserve to be there after the season they had and especially after their emphatic win over the Cardinals.:cheers

I'd like to see the Jets in the SB but I'm gonna say they can't beat the Colts.

Well, unfortunately the first half of my prediction was correct and the Jets just didn't have enough to stop the Colts firepower. Peyton Manning was on fire in the second half and just took the Jets apart. Oh well...

In the NFC, it's a close one with the Saints and the Vikings tied 21 apiece. I hope my prediction comes true and the Saints get into the SuperBowl!:cheers

Go colts! no need for any new history to be made.

(this is me just mad because I didnt take them at 26 dollars at the start of the season lol)

Man Brett Favre had the brain fade of the century, he could have walked 10 yards and got close enough for a FG, but he threw a ball that would have made less yardage than he would have if he had of rushed it himself........

Okay.. Just so long as I don't have to watch it. The slumber an NFL match would induce would throw my sleeping patterns out for weeks.

Agreed. I wish someone would edit a game down to literally just they playing time and maybe the ref decisions and stuff like that.

I have a theory about why Americans eat so much turkey... it's just a way of medicating themselves with tryptophan so that they can nod off in the middle of a game of American Football and still not really miss much.

BTW: Regardless of their hideous name... I'm hard programmed to support a team started in 1967 that hasn't won a Premiership. They've got my support!

I actually enjoy NFL but wholeheartedly agree it is far too slow. Here is an interesting piece of trivia for you. The actual time the ball is "in" play in a game of NFL is about 8 minutes on average. That refers to the time the ball is actually being kicked, thrown, caught, carried etc. The rest of the time is spent in huddles and on the line of scrimmage.

I'd love to see a "modified" form of the game where there is much less down time and also basically only one "team" of players, with a few specialist positions allowed. ie; your QB doesn't have to play defence but linebackers double as running back, wide receivers as safeties etc. Would appeal much more to Aussies, I reckon.:cheers
