I do believe that Ricky Stuarts decision to release brett kimmorley and not up isaac De grouses contract will spell the end of Stuart, i personally wasn't keen to have him on board as his 02 win was a gift,
it wasn't him last year it was Brett Kimmorley, and the whole time kimmorley played at the sharks he was bagged, blamed, and made a scape goat, then Ricky Stuart got his way and got rid of him.
we haven't had a decent coach since John Lang,
we need to half our board, one half can run the leagues club and try to make money and the other eight can run the football team.
and we need a crack marketing department, some people in the know, that don't set their own targets and pat themselves on the back at the end of the year for reaching their own target.
it starts from the top, i reckon even GAL is not happy.

Something to consider before wheeling out the guillotine is who would actually want to come and coach for us??

Hypothetically should the team not turn the corner this year and the board decides Ricky must go that would be 3 x coaches in row to have been sacked by the Sharks, and that we would have to payout big dollars. Seriously, Anderson (sued us) and Raper were both axed before their contract end dates.

Dont get me wrong, if things go from bad to worse its an option that has to be considered!

totally agree with you fancyman. personally not a fan of ricky. all the success as a coach he has had he has had gun sides who would coach themselves. what is johnny lang doing these days would love to see him back.

Even Gal? He would be filthy that we are sitting on one win from seven starts - he is the kind of bloke that just hates losing and is probably hurting more than anyone right now.

I think he is in an advisory role with Souths.

haha, no I just dont rate him as a coach.

He is to tence and critical and dont let the players develop a natural game, he to structured and diciplined, which is a good thing but like Steve Folks he goes to far with it. And I think tactically he is limited.

If he hates losing so much, how about he tries staying out of trouble.

Please people, you are calling for an ax after he took us to one game from the final last yr. His thinking on swapping Barrett for BK was correct although it can't be seen right now. About De gois, there are factors that come in to....um salary cap. Neither party wanted De gois to leave but money talks and $180K over 3 yrs is alot of talking.

We have had a horrific start to the season. Not once this yr have we had the same team 2 weeks in a row.

One win from the grand final? How many games did we win by less than six points? The dice roll a different way and we finish near the bottom. We should be putting teams away. I agree there is too much structure and not enough room for individual brilliance.

Welcome to Emu Plains, please be sure to visit our
im getting sick of this "sack the coach", fair dinkum, even if we could sack him, 1. we couldnt afford to pay him and his cronies out, 2. who are you going to replace him with? paul langmack?..

kimmorley was with us for 7 years and did SFA in those 7 years, missing the finals more often then actually making them, we need stability and the coach that can get us out of this sh!tfight is sticky himself

if you want to blame someone for the mess the club is in, blame the useless hacks on the board, hope most get outed at the election

see what i mean, bretty bashing,
but i do agree with you on the board matter, they are pear shaped with plastic back bones, jobs for the boys, only a mate can get on that board.
and can you belive their are 15 board members, why the hell do you need 15, thats more than a football team, 15 to run 13,.

not really....

Well it must to him cause he took it and altough he maybe worth it, we couldn't fit him in the piece.

De Gois is a tough nut but not very creative, I think most ppl seem to overestimate his worth to a team.

I was thinking more like Mick Hagon, he not doing much these days

Imagine Sterlo as a coach, honestly think about it

I know it would never happen, but could you imagine it

Sterlo LOL, just cause he makes comments on TV doesn't make him a coach. Lot more involved in coaching then knowing what is happening on the field.
