It was pretty much a non-event. Said it went on for a year.

Front-lawn interview with Mellor. Not prepared or scripted. He basically agreed with the reporter's negative comments, but didn't go much further.

Trying to make fools of a few decent Sharks supporters by asking them about ET and what they think of him (without telling them why).

Trying to track down ET and failing spectacularly.

Interviewing Danny Weidler.

Some random bit at the end about sponsors.

Ah ok, cheers mate. So nothing story really

Good thing was they were obviously aiming for a national story, so didn't go too much into the Sharks or any history. Spent more of it trying to explain who he was to AFL types (though that might be second night).

I wouldn't be so sure. It was apparent to me that there was an agreement that Mrs Mellor was neither named nor shown.
She was a critical part of the story that was completely overlooked.

They hounded ET, and even named Mrs ET, yet Mrs Mellor is still an enigma. They didnt even provide the usual "declined to comment" line

Some random bit at the end about sponsors.

Having worked in the industry, I can guarantee that those businesses appearing will be ordering the videos of the ACA story and reassessing their sponsorship tomorrow.

ACA will then be able to run the follow up story...
ETs show axed as sponsors pull out due to his immorality as revealed here
.

They can then claim damage to individuals, families and people's livelihoods. Something to be proud of.

ACA in fine form. Lets bring in the experts to give us their opinions.

Enter Danny Wiedler and Trish from marketing who surrendered her lunch hour to talk to us.

It frustrates me when I see that this show and Today Tonight rate so constantly high.

Remembers when Gordon Ramsy called Tracy Grimshaw a Lesbian. :)

Shows like this are the reason remote controls let you change the channel. Even the footy show is more respectable than this garbage. CH9 just sucks.

Embarrassed to say I just watched it online. That is gutter journalism at its finest.

Lingering shots of both private residence, interviewing innocent people to make them look foolish, attempting to ruin the guy's career by even naming sponsors.

Pure garbage designed for humiliation, pain and suffering.

They must be so proud, Danny Weidler included, who obviously has a personal stake in all this.

On the website the story is lodged between 'hidden salt in your diet', CCTV footage of shoplifting and germs on bank notes in your wallet making us all sick. Hard hitting stuff.

I miss the Chasers weekly segment "What did we learn from Current Affairs this week"

Surely these guys know their show sucks and they are not real journos but it rates and therefore pays...

It's the false representation I can't stand. From what everyone here is saying, it doesn't even appear to be a 'current affair'......

I'll get me coat :p

For Mellor to agree to do this story and come out about ET he didn't seem to have much to say. He was struggling to come up with words in response to the reporter.
