It does fit the description of the show though "current affairs"

Anybody?? Anybody??

ACA transcends not just time but also geography. I recall a story on Sydney Hoon drivers with footage ripped from Youtube showing drifters in Japan! Not only that but it was footage of a legal event. LOL FAIL

Annoys the hell out of me that we cant get any decent anything about League here in the West, however when I jumped in my car at about 5.15 what were they talking about on the radio?... ET... ACA hadnt even been shown yet so I'm guessing it was one of those Oz wide broadcasts... still ****s me to tears!!:rant

yes he did the wrong thing but comparing it to Wayne Carey and going over the top with an eight minute exclusive is total BS. this is worthy of nothing more than a paragraph in a paper.

ET has been retired over a decade, Carey was a current player and slipping it to his mates misus. While Im not defending ET for his alleged actions, I think Danny Wiedler and ACA can go **** themselves. Typical ACA bull

For shame ET for 'hooking' up with a mates wife. He really shouldn't have shared his 'tackle'

I chose not to watch it. I still remember what they did to Steve Irwin over the croc/ baby incident. Tracy GrimJaw absoutely crucified the guy and almost had him in tears... then they had the audacity to do a tribute on him when he passed... Tracy acted so concerned. Shame on you ACA.

I miss the Chasers weekly segment "What did we learn from Current Affairs this week"

Surely these guys know their show sucks and they are not real journos but it rates and therefore pays...

Media watch, channel 2. Check it out. They will be all over this !

Some funny comments on here, I’ve enjoyed the read.

For mine, ET is one legend sportsman. I do feel bad for Mellor though, suppose he got what he wanted in the end, payback!

This whole beat up is at Danny Weedler’s instigation as he wanted to ‘break’ the exclusive.

Does appear ACA are getting desperate for stories, suppose there’s only so many times you can run, speed camera, angry neighbours stories and of course the jewel in the crown – Woolies vs Coles.

Look ET and “Mrs Mellor” morally did the wrong thing. But this wasn’t a matter to be aired on national TV. This was a matter that needs to be worked out by the parties involved as kids were involved.

The story was a big fail for mine. ACA and Weidler came out looking like incompetent hacks and if you read the absolute smashing they copped on Twitter etc last night most would agree.

ET is a good person who did the wrong thing. Let’s just hope he learnt from his actions. I’m disappointed, but I won’t let one moral indiscretion change my mind about him due to all the good, hard work he’s done for the Sharks, Rugby League etc in the past.

PS Mellor has every right to be pissed off.

That was dead set the biggest media beat ive seen in a long time.. Yeah ET did the dirty, but that should not have hit the media, Surely Mellors wife is partially to blame, where was her input..

This will do damage to ET's TV career, he will lose sponsors, potentially get dumped by numerous TV networks and be slammed by all the 'woman haters' clubs all around the world. Damn those woman haters!!

ET was and always will be one of the best players to roam this earth.. Damn you Tracy Grimshaw and Danny Wiedler for showing this. but it wont change my view of him, i idolised him growing up. Nothing will change that!

Ive heard that 99% of league players and staff refuse to talk to D Weidler anymore mainly cause of all the **** that he goes on about. Hopefully the other 1% watched the program last night and completely bar him from all NRL functions and not let him have anything to do with any clubs!

Rant over.

I just wonder how quickly Danny Weidler will be hearing a dial tone when he tries to get an interview with the NSW Captain come Origin time.

I wonder how hard it would be to request a blanket ban of any Danny Weidler interviews by the Sharks. Surely it is evident that he not only was searching for the next big exclusive but also showed total disregard for the club and any troubles they may be facing. To mention that Sharks insiders are distancing themselves from ET is nothing short of false accusations and inuendo. Maybe we should put out social media pages showing what a total douche bag this guy really is. Hopefully then players and club officials from other nrl clubs will think twice about interviews conducted by this grub.

On a side note: I would like to thank ACA and Weidler for reminding me of how a great a footballer ET was and that I must watch his fishing show again as it's been a while.

What about Weidler's headline story on Nine News about the problems at Parramatta, and him saying along the lines of "people are blaming all the Polynesian players (but of course that's disgusting)".

If he doesn't have someone willing to go on the record with that sort of racist crap, then he shouldn't repeat it.
