Ennis has won me over since he signed. I have never ever rated him but he has been immense this season.

every dogs supporter who said 'good luck with him, we got the better deal' when he signed have all said they wished he wasn't going. I was happy when we signed him and since then I get a rise in my Levi's every time I watch him play, we haven't had a good dummy half in a very very long time, will make a big difference to our team

Lichaa will kill at the Bulldogs under Des Hasler and will play NRL for years to come whilst we will get probably one good year out of Ennis.
Yup, Fitness can be fixed - old age cannot

Ennis is a good signing but it is a short term one no 2 ways about it. If we play him till he is around 40 like JMO just because he is a competitor and good club man we are ****ed
Next season or 2 should see good service from Ennis though

I like some of the things I see in Lichaa but it's not devastating he has gone to the dogs. We can find other young up and coming young hookers to replace Ennis in a few seasons, we already have Polotini waiting in the wings for instance and he has often outshined Lichaa both in FG and reserves

Be nice to unearth the next James Segeyaro.

Hopefully Mark Mexico has put us on to a few young prospects.

They say time repeats itself, Michael Ennis is Steve Price of ten years ago.

Last week I sat with bulldogs supporters their opinion of him changed several teams during the course of the game, I think that'll happen for us next year

The most glaring part of the GF the other day was that the Bulldogs missed Ennis more than the Rabbits missed Luke. A few weeks earlier against more or less the same side, Ennis intimidated and got under their skin and in Souths face. He more or less, won that game for them. If Ennis stays fit and brings that game our side improves immensely. I know it won't happen, but I keep imagining Gallen, Ennis and Fifita, as our starting engine room. D Fifita off the bench so that we can see what affect playing the two Fifita boys on at the same time has. I am glad Ennis is here next year to me, he was the heart and soul of the Bulldogs this year and he will bring the level of professionalism that we require to step up to the plate in 2015.

The dogs lacked directions and looked very flat in the GF.
Ennis helps lift them and provides enthusiasm (what Graham was trying to do).
Ennis will prove to be be a great buy for us, but we still sorely need a creative half!

They were flat alright, but where did their halves go.
