I guess the Grand Final was a good example of just how important he is to a team.

I know this is late but did anyone see 9 news last night?

Ennis was already at shark park checking out the facilitates and mixing with some people. God damn professional.

He lost a grand final a week ago and he is already preparing for next season. On crutches as well! Captain Ennis please.

Very professional, I think he'll be a good role model for alot of younger players notably Deitz, Tracey and Brailey.

i said it earlier this year, and i said it yesty. We dont need a bloke off a drug ban as a captain. Ennis carries himself as a true professional in every way. If Gallen broke his foot before the gf, he would have played. He would have played injured and slowed the team down. Ennis didnt put his own pride first either. Not that he could have played but he didnt put the team in jeopardy to gain for himself.

Training starts in what? 2-3 weeks? Whens the training singo's go on sale

A New Jersey with a number 9 is in order.

Ennis will improve the team 100% not just skill but experience and leadership. Can't believe we actually snagged this bloke.

Been a while since I've seen this forum hype up a signing like this one.

I'm not surprised tbh. Other than De Gois' in (08?)we haven't really had great service from dummy half since Triester.

Something the Sharks have lacked over the years even more so than a halfback or centre.

100%

It all starts and stops with good service, and a smart hooker who knows how to get his forwards rolling forward. A great hooker can make an average side a quality side.

Can smith, Isacc like, Robbie Farah, James segeyaro all have their sides rolling and engaging makers and keeping them square and picking the right moments to run it.

Look at the average sides, all average hookers. Canberra, us, Newcastle, eels when they lost peats. It's as important of not more than a good halfback.

We've had ridiculous turnover in that position too. There's dudes like Paul Aiton and Terrance Seu Seu that you just forget about.

I thought Aiton was pretty good at Penrith and was happy when we signed him, didn't really do much here though unfortunately.
