I would love to see Ennis make a cameo as a trainer next year. I could imagine him niggling from behind the line. Maybe bring him out when we play Melbourne.

Different chemistry next year for sure. We will miss Heighno and his bonding. Ennis and his determination and leadership. Maybe Gal and his leadership? Wade and Jimmy need to step up and drive the team. I think they can do it well. You can never go back - we have to look forward.

Why would we miss Gal next year?

Just lucky it wasn't Ennis that said to Smith that he'd be on holidays soon. Media would have been calling it disrespectful and running it on the pages for weeks.

Gal said in a foxsports article that he thought about retiring but he isn't - he wouldn't feel right leaving Wade just yet and after the club had Gal in the plans for 2017

Better to bite the bullet now on blooding new hookers while we still have Gal, Lewis ect in the Squad for season 2017 than doing it later when they are gone

Mick ain't coming back to play, he's already told his family - don't see him breaking that promise to his kid and wife. I will miss him being on the field for us ofcourse but after winning the premiership I am happy to move on and look at the next chapter with players coming through hopeful of Ennis tutoring in the background

This. There couldn't be a better environment for the new hooker to enter. Whoever that may be.
