Pretty special seeing Ennis and Gal hugging and crying on the field after the game - they both deserved that after long careers. Having him go out like that in Sharkies colors does me proud, he will always remember his grand final win being at Cronulla in his last game

Hope we can keep him in a club role beyond 2017 but at some point he may just want a complete break although the media career will always be there I would think

30 years from now I'll still recall my mick ennis moment.
Was the Canberra week 1 final game, standing out the front of hotel with about 20 others watching the players get on the bus, kids got a qik photo with benny, everyone had their game face on, mick walked past me one foot on the front step of the bus, I turned around he was only a few steps past I called out "mick" he spun around I said " you have 3 wins left in you still mick I can feel it" his reply gives me goose bumps now after the grand final victory, with a wink "so can I mate so can I" with a little parting of thumbs up to each other we went are separate ways, and he delivered on his word... Cheers mick enjoy everything else that life brings.

What a guy! Ennis just seems like a really nice guy. Can't wait to see him continue his media career post footy, hopefully always saying something nice about us haha.

We sure are. I reckon though he's value to our team as a Hookers coach will be huge.

He can do better than just mentor the hookers. If he can get even half the team to replicate those 1 percenters he puts in week in week out we will go back to back. His effort has always been incredible no matter the circumstances.

Only has won a comp with 1 club.
