I never got my portal email but received a "follow up" email a couple of weeks ago. Same thing happened for a mate. It's a lucky dip.

Was the same for me, Aus Post is good at being useless. They had the order 14/12, got no action on the tracker until last Monday. Received it Wednesday.

Not sure about this year, but last year, any of the extras you cashed in with your member points were dispatched from China.

I got a keyring and it took well over 4 weeks, all the marking showed it being sent from China and being opened at customs.

Ok I'm a bit lost with this Mber portal dog ****.

I have $30 credit, am I spending $15 of that credit for my lanyard/card/pin? Or is that built in and I have $30 on top of that to spend?

Also, bog average selection. Will end up getting a hat and let the kids fight over it

It's all trash mate. Yes you're spending a portion on the card/pin and they'll also sting you for shipping.

Someone here had a great idea that you should be able to put your member money towards anything in the Sharks Store. Can imagine a lot of people who wouldn't normally buy a $160 jersey shelling out $110.

Well I feel for the oldies and computer illiterate, they'd be purchasing their membership thinking they'll get a membership pack, not knowing they had to log onto an external site, jump through more hoops, and pay extra shipping.

How hard is it to send out a lanyard, keyring and card and be done with it.

There seems to be a misunderstanding by some . The Mber system is not about attending Sharks games .

Attendance is not the priority , CLICKS are all that matters . Mber is about data collection , yours . The pretence is you get options to personalise your membership items & put your own design on your pencil cases or other crap and you agree they can share your data " to enhance your experience ."

For those with young families maybe it is an attraction but not for me .

They don't really want you opting to get a membership card , they would prefer your membership ticket is on your phone , more data collection , that is why cards & lanyards are not included in membership & they charge freight to discourage you .

I have argued that if you don't want the Mber crap just give us option for lower cost membership but can't get that message through.

If you really like the Mber system you can buy a Platinum or Diamond membership & get even more credits to buy crap

Is there any time limit we have to put our orders of our Ember portal choice items in or can we wait for another few weeks before the season starts? I've got my Ember portal email but I'm away for a bit, not home for another 2 weeks. I don't want to risk getting it sent while I'm away.

Last year, I think the portal stayed open until the end of the season.

As it is approaching 30 days since your initial email regarding the Portal, should you not redeem your credit shortly, your Membership Card, Lanyard and Lapel Pin will be sent out to you. $20 credit will be deducted for each Membership that you have linked to your account, however you will still be able to login and select other items after this time.

This is strangely worded.

So do you benefit from a $20 deduction from your membership costs, or are they penalising you $20 credit from what you can spend on merchandise?
