Yep - that's why the Ponies weren't game to face us at Suncorp this year after the drubbing we have given them over the last few years. Last year was spectacular in how we showed a typical cheque book team how we are so much better than they would ever be without the ridiculous amount of bs concessions and unique advantages that they have the luxury to enjoy.

The club hasn't finished work on the 2015 team poster, so if you are going to the members BBQ and want something signed, BYO.

a) i dont think the Sharks would wanna play a part in making nrl big in a city that could potentially replace them in the NRL.
b) i think ALL trial games should be played away from home cities. regional, interstate etc purely for spreading the good word. Knights are playing a trial near us, vs a local comp side and word is every redneck and his dog is going. its bigger than the monster trucks!
c) i think each team extending supporter bases is a great idea. maybe the NRL need to discuss compulsary relocations of 1 home game each to either nz, central coast, central qld, perth, or some other mid to big size regional stadium

Perth will be "in addition" as supposed to a "replacement" team IMHO.

My suggestion works with yr points b) and c) so I'm not sure why you'd be against it.

As Jenni posted, the bunnies are getting great leverage over here as they keep bringing games over.
I think it wld be great for the Sharks to have a trial here.
I run to work in a Sharks Jersey a cple of times a week and generally get positive reactions by cars driving past, yelling out "Come on the Sharkies", so there wld be some interest.

Or is that Jenni and GWS that keep yelling out at me!

Pretty sure NRL have an app for that already mate like $3 a week to watch it all on your ipad.

Yeah there's no way the Sharks can do that.

As Cap said you will have to go through the NRL website. $10 per month I think.

I watched the auckland nines at the sharks locker room sports bar, in which the atmosphere of the bar was great. We had Free beer when the sharks played and snacks being bought out to the fans all day.

The bar went off each time a sharks player scored.

Should you be unable to get to an away game this year, sports bar could be the next best thing
