I don't think so, think he is primarily a winger.

He's kinda like Katoa, a good finisher but very much still learning at NRL level.

Didn't have a great game but wasn't one of his errors just to catch a bomb near our sideline and be pushed out with it? Rather he do that than let them catch it or let it bounce in goal.

Once Nene and Ronnie are fit/healthy then Katoa and Hiroti slip back to 3rd and 4th string and I'm pretty happy with them there. Katoa even has a little while to try clean up his game and keep improving to hold a spot - he is our only player with 3 or more tries after 5 games.

that was a blunder though 10 out, he didnt need to contest it, let them do the jumping

if the bomb landed on our goal line, then sure

We've been bad under the high ball for so long that we're scared of our wingers trying to catch the ball.

Maybe with experience he may have tried the old 1 foot in, 1 foot out and just reached for the ball coming down.
Out on the full!
Heat of the moment I guess!

Hotdog, Misi, Tautai, Seu Seu ... stop it!

Don't forget Jono, Ayshford, Gards and Isaac Gordon.

Yeah much better than his first outing. Probably ahead of Goodwin and behind Ferris in centre depth.

I think he had a really good game from what I saw but admittedly didn’t watch the whole game and wasn’t really paying close attention but I think if dugan plays fullback I’d put him in the Centres so Talakai can go into the forwards

his first goal conversion attempt looked really weak and he missed but from there and I thought we are back to square one with our goal kicking but after that he was slotting them in a noticeable breeze with ease - really smooth, calm and steady kicker, he did really well in those conditions

some good effort in his carries, made plenty of metres and looking at the stats he made 21 tackles for no misses. in the centres and in a makeshift team that is impressive defense

He looked like he had more to his game than say Ramien, who is a straight out power runner.

Handy goal kicker also

Hang on to him, if opportunity presents itself next year we have Hiroti and Ferris ready. Hiroti could play wing too

this guy is definitley worth giving another year to, especially if we get nsw cup back and he gets match day fitness

We will need a Xerri replacement I guess!!
Do we give this guy the spot or chase hard for another NRL ready centre?

Also especially because he has been training with us all season, as opposed to some rando who hasn't been playing Cup and doesn't know our players/structures etc

Actually on second thought given our defence, maybe a player from a club that can tackle wouldn't be a bad thing...

We have Dugan and Ramien and both Ferris and Hiroti have looked to have some potential to be competent replacements. Happy not to stress about centre for the time being.

My point also. Yours is just a bit more thorough! :)

We have more “critical” positions to address at the moment (FB and halves).
Will needs competition and Moylan looks finished as a 1 (and possibly as an NRL player) with his injury issues.
We Definitely need cover for SJ and with all the BT rumours someone like Benji would be very beneficial.
We don’t lose a lot in attack and he brings experience and X factor.

Shame about BT thou (If true) as I still think he has great potential.
Kids are far to impatient.....

I thought it was funny last game when Fifs was making a tackle. He had the bloke up top in a bear hug and gave Hiroti the quiet word to do something about his legs. Hiroti then helped bring him down.

It was like they were at training or something.

Had a strong game today. But much like most of our squad, we'll what they're made of next week
