He is very chilled. If the Sharks ever start a reggae band he needs to be first selected on bass.

I reckon Katoa would be a sick break dancer but equally could chill out on a bass

As for Hiroto, he recovered reasonably well from some of those mistakes and took some tricky bombs under pressure. just looks a bit too slow to be a massive threat. not a lost cause but not a must pick either

I actually get these weird 2008-2011 sharks era player vibes from him though, his body shape and the way he looks and plays hahaha wtf . like some strange hybrid of terrence seu seu, misi talapapa and bronx goodwin
thats probabaly both unfair and a bad sign

I remember the forums back then as well. A lot of us were just waiting for the club to go under and were at the point of being welcoming to be put out of our misery. Dark times indeed.

we almost did go under

a family member knew someone involved with the financial side of the Sharks - he said it was every bit as bad as reported
I remember the call to arms kinda games where we needed to get crowds there desperately to get cash

I did why part rocking up to games against Manly, St George ect and watching us get absolutely annihilated lol

just making a line break or not dropping the ball over the try line was extremely exciting for me as a fan back then

First game. Wasn’t terrible, but don’t think he is a player that is going to be spectacular at all....another Stuart Mills in the making

Is this bloke typically a centre?

I don't think so, think he is primarily a winger.

He's kinda like Katoa, a good finisher but very much still learning at NRL level.

Didn't have a great game but wasn't one of his errors just to catch a bomb near our sideline and be pushed out with it? Rather he do that than let them catch it or let it bounce in goal.

Once Nene and Ronnie are fit/healthy then Katoa and Hiroti slip back to 3rd and 4th string and I'm pretty happy with them there. Katoa even has a little while to try clean up his game and keep improving to hold a spot - he is our only player with 3 or more tries after 5 games.

Hiroti just looked a bit lost defensively. That said that whole side was crap that game.

I wouldn't go that far. Mills was hyped big time and had that massive debut game

He looked like he wanted to giggle every time the ball did something strange.
He copped a really bad bounce on one of those kicks , had the lol skates on
