This is a real problem. He is getting targetted every week and we are leaking points on that side. He has a rookie second rower next to him thats still learning the job.

Teams aren’t going to stop smashing that left side close to the line. An adjustment is needed.

I’m a massive Trindall supporter, I’ve always genuinely felt he’s Nico’s long term halves partner. But I don’t know much of an upgrade that is defensively.

I don’t know what the answer is but our highly paid coach better know or we are in deep ****.

add to that he has talakai on the other side of him who has imo been well below standards set.
I'm not defending moylan at all as i think he's no where near good enough i'm just throwing my 2 cents in

Trindall for sure makes those tackles for Wilton and catches those kicks for Ronaldo and holds the ball for Katoa and plays the ball for Talakai

Moylan didn’t kill it but he didn’t single handedly lose us the game. Wilton tryline defence at least as bad if not worse - he’s 50 games in he’s not still learning the position so much he doesn’t have to know how to tackle

Errors , errors , errors , you just can't commit that many and expect to win games , there is a lot of players who need to take a good hard look at themselves . There are some players who you know are going to commit at least 1/2 errors every week . Not good enough to be contenders .

no you’re right. Moylan was just sht, missed tackles that led to tries and added nothing of value to the team

Nothing to see here boys

The effort on Curran - what’s your excuse for Moylan’s pathetic effort?

No one is saying that Trindall would've of saved the day.

Trindall has shown he has been improving and Moylan has shown he's either stagnant or on the decline.

It was ****, what’s you’re obsession with the word excuse
Give us your best excuses why he stays in the team gentlemen
I don’t need excuses for him to be in the team I don’t pick.

I’m not saying he was good I don’t need excuses for him to make bad tackles.

Wilton was further away than he should have been to help (it’s not an excuse have a look it’s just a fact) and Moylan gave the tackle **** all.

If you wanna pick that one out do we reckon other teams drop their halves Nikora (and sometimes Wilton) run through each week?

The tryline defence between the two of them is awful.

I can say more than one player is bad without it meaning I think Moylan was good.

Our goal line D has been too easily beaten all year. Needs to be fixed. Also need to fix the errors and dumb **** that walk teams up to our tryline all the time.

Didn’t seem too concerned in the presser from what I saw, only caught the second half of it. Hoping that’s just his persona to the media but surely has to be concerned with our defence

Do other teams have a superior half in reserves to replace their doormats with?

You may not pick the team but you sure do sprout a lot of rubbish of why he should remain in it.

I’ll ask another question then, what does Moylan do these days that Trindall cannot do / doesn’t already do better?

It’s Chad Townsend all over again - if you aren’t picking him out as the only issue in the team you’re a cHaD LoVeR

I don’t know that I’ve said I think he should remain in the team. I thought the coach would keep picking him.
My nonsense is what? Other people are also making mistakes?
You need to watch the games more if you don’t think that’s true.

As for your other question Moylans attack decision making is very good - you might notice we are one of the top scorer in the league at the moment. Believe it or not I think he is probably better than Trindall at this. Given how much we play off Hynes or Kennedy though I do think that Trindall could probably be close enough.

I also think the coach sees way more of both and if he consistently picks one over the other he’s better placed than I or anyone on a forum to choose and we just have to accept that is either correct or we have a bad coach.

I’ve been against Moylans last two re-signings. I’m not particularly happy we are playing him.
Doesn’t mean I can’t see Wilton miss a tackle or half a dozen errors putting us under pressure.

Bye is actually a good chance to half over 5/8 to trindall if Fitz is open to it.
Hope he works on some other stuff too though.
