I'm worried we'll re-sign this guy for two more years and miss out on a long-term gun 6.

But he is so valuable right now.

Fitz pretty much said Moylan will be around next year without actually saying Moylan will be around next year in tonights presser.

Moylan's impact on the game reminds me a bit of Freddy Fittler. Doesn't appear to be doing a hell of a lot in the game but is suddenly there to ice an important play when it matters.

I was critical of Moylan being in the side early this season but I have to admit he has had a very good season to date (hopefully I haven’t just put the mocker on him).
Creates and is a bit more dangerous than Nico when we are close to the line.
Has been a good foil for Nico

Yeh I took that as we would like to keep him - at the right price.

I think they understand they need to prepare for a replacement so if someone comes up they will be in a position to grab.

if Moylan produces similar to yesterday or plays like he's 23 again. keep him on, yes at a suitable price, nothing outlandish.

always worried about injuries or if he re-signs he then cruises.
seems to have had an attitude change in recent times and looking fit

On the first Titans try, he was the only one sprinting back. I was afraid for his hammies, but he seems to be doing OK. I think that massive pre-season is paying off and keeping him healthy and on the field.

Comments like this get thrown around all of the time. The answer is that halves and outside backs look good when their forwards are winning the battle in the guts. When we play poor teams, we win the battle more often.

Early season Moylan looked great against Parra - who are definitely a good team.
"Yeah he played well but why can't he play that well against the better teams?"

Because they are literally a better team and thus, by definition, more difficult to play well against.
It's a tough concept.

Still looks like he's going to do a hammy putting up a bomb, but has been the best player in the team over the past couple of weeks.

it's more difficult for the ENTIRE team so the players that support and setup Mozza have a harder time to

He's been playing some good footy. I'm not too sure about a 2 year deal, 1 year would be better.

I get the feeling though, as soon as he signs a new deal, he could drop in form.
